That will be when most republicans, or most government haters realize that government can work for them.

You're an idiot dude.

Ending the filibuster is ONLY good for Democrats if they maintain a majority until the end of time.

Mitch McConnell Reminded of Citizens United Backing After Warning to CEOs

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has been reminded of his support of the Citizens United ruling after he warned big businesses to "stay out of politics" as they denounced a controversial new voting law in Georgia.

Issuing a statement on the voting law, McConnell said: "It's jaw-dropping to see powerful American institutions not just permit themselves to be bullied, but join in the bullying themselves."

A number of commentators reacted to the Republican leader's remarks by reminding him of his support for the Citizens United ruling that permitted corporations, unions and other outside groups to spend unlimited sums on elections.

Every Republican has seen a fundraising boost.

They just closed out a record fundraising quarter across the board, with almost none of it coming from Corporations, which are now fully behind the Democratic Establishment.

Oh my!

Imagine the hypocrisy of a government who will allow businesses to card people to get a job or buy groceries, but won't card people to vote in elections and gives millions of non-citizens free money from taxpayers.

Old news, dumbass.

You've been pretending for years that education makes you smart and the college brainwashed tend to vote Democrat.

Are we going to pretend that this is a new news story in 2021 now?

lol

Man... They're really struggling without Trump to report on every day now, huh?

Mid-Term Elections 2021

Since this thread was started by the Russian Troll, the title has read:
Mid-Term Elections 2021

So, what is this about? I am not all that familiar with the details of Russian Elections.

The State Duma is currently in it's 7th Convocation, since 2016. And expiring this year, when a new Election (in 2021) will be held for the 8th Convocation - to last another 5 years.

President was last elected in 2018, his term to expire in 2024. He was only legally allowed to run for re-election once, which was 2018, I guess.

So, that would seem to mean that this year, in 2021, is the Mid-Terms for Russia Elections.

Now it all makes more sense.

Does anybody know of any other nation which has "Mid-term" Elections in 2021?

The Republicans are batting a 1000. They've lost all, what is it, as many as 70 cases now?
