I think I counted about 30 actors from firefly on various incarnations of CSI... Summer, Melinda Clarke & Gina notably on the Vegas show (including Gina tonight Jan 10th, on Spike), Adam & Sean on CSI: Miami... and various guest stars, too...

Connect Firefly to the new Battlestar Galactica:

Jewel Staite to Kandyse McClure (another of her Higher Ground co-stars).

Kandyse is Petty Officer Dualla (the bridge officer)

You can then use Battlestar Galactica to connect back to Star Trek.

I'm not sure that counts, because Clinton didn't act in the movie "Contact"--it was just a clip from a press conference, and in fact, the Clinton camp made a stink about the clips being used in the film.
