In your proposed scenario, the President disavows allegiance to the Constitution, which he has sworn to defend.
But that's not what Trump did.
So, what did Trump NOT do?
He didn't call for violence, in fact he called for peace.
He didn't tell anyone to "get" Pence.
He didn't tell anyone to break the law, as I recall he told people to "cheer"
He didn't disavow the Constitution.
He didn't pledge allegiance to any other nation, or provide "aid and comfort to the enemy", unless you want to call people who disagree with the election process "enemies"?
Where is the impeachable offense, except in SECONDRATE'S imaginary scenario?
So what is this show trial all about, other than being a media circus?
