I'm going to call this 3 days early. Despite CNN's incessant fear-mongering about what COULD happen in the WH - nothing happened. There was no coup. Martial law was not declared. The US didn't strike Iran. Trump did not launch nukes.

And CNN's endless speculations = FAIL

Many people have died of COVID-19 pneumonia without comorbidities.

And everyone with COVID-19 listed as THE cause of death died of ... COVID-19.

Unless you think that every doctor, coroner, and pathologist in the US who writes up death certificates ... and everyone around the world ... is lying ... just to fool you?

I don't know anybody who knows anybody who did.

You'd think that after we reached half a million people everybody would have some sort of morbid six degrees to Kevin Bacon thing going on by now.

Maybe your circle is too small? Maybe you only know 10 people and they only know 10 people each ... that's just 100 people. And according to my calculations, on average, you'd have to have a circle of 1,000 people to know 1.3 people who died from it.

In any case, I know more than 1 person who had a relative or neighbor who died of it. In fact I know a nurse who (professionally) knows MANY people who died of it.

Signy's doctors of course know many people who died of it. Signy's relatives have relatives and neighbors who died of it.

But that's just 2 degrees of separation. I could expand it further. Maybe you should, too. Maybe you should expand your thoughts out of your immediate life and on to something a bit larger. I mean, doesn't it seem kind of airless, and claustrophobic, and small to have your thoughts running in the same circles over and over? And now you know 'people' who know people who know people ...

My prediction is that you won't change your mind about COVID-19 no matter how MANY people know someone who know someone died of it.

I know a lot more than 10 people, and the people I know aside from a few know quite a bit more people than I do.

Most of them are big city people too, so it's not as if my circle is out in the boonies.

People out here aren't dying of it at all. Sure, the media says they are, but they really aren't.

JACK, when you say YOU DON'T KNOW, all it means is that YOU DON'T KNOW. Which means, YOU DON"T KNOW.

It says nothing about reality.

So does anyone in your circle know anyone who's been ... run over by a train? And are you going to claim that it never happens because your circle doesn't personally know anyone who's died that way? Do you or anyone in your circle know anyone who's ... died in a plane crash? Drowned in a pool? Been hit by lightning? Been killed by a bear? Been lost at sea? Been murdered by a spouse?

Does none of that happen just because YOUR CIRCLE DOESN'T KNOW?

And BTW, I met your challenge. I know people who know people who've died of COVID-19.
