I predict more politically tumultuous times up ahead for the US: Trump has injected a great poison into US democracy with his claims of fraud and a stolen election, and (I fear) the storming of the Capitol won't be the end or high point of the violence. I think the FBI has a busy few years ahead...

I do think support for Trump amongst *some* Republicans will fade, as they wake up to the fact that the only fraud they have been the victim of is Donald Trump himself. This process of abandoning Trump will be accelerated by the continued ugly and violent acts committed by Trump's followers, in his name. A hard core of dupes/crazies will continue to support Trump, however, foaming at the mouth about the "Deep State". The result: a GOP split roughly down the middle, divided and warring for years to come. Ivanka will bid to unite the warring factions and run for the presidency in 2024. Donald Trump will be too mired in legal difficulties/scandal/terrorism he's caused to be a realistic candidate (fingers crossed, in jail).

EDIT (20/1/21): I think Ivanka will lead in the polls at some point but will implode (nature abhors a vacuum).
