The gathering of extremists in the cradle of American democracy was hardly clandestine. Trump, after all, summoned them. “Big protest in D.C. on January 6th,” he tweeted on 19 December. “Be there, will be wild!”
On 1 January he tweeted: “The BIG Protest Rally in Washington, D.C. will take place at 11:00 A.M. on January 6th. Locational details to follow. StopTheSteal!”
Thousands responded, young and old, travelling from across the US to form a river of people in downtown Washington. Many were ordinary people who believe baseless claims about electoral fraud. Others were rightwing social media celebrities and members of quasi-militia groups.

Reason and logic definitley NOT your forte! The WaPo article spends a great number of words explaining how difficult it is to ID "Antifa" (they don't even mention BLM) and then goes on to say that they don't even bother to ID the "inspiration" for violence anyhow.
And then it goes on to look at 80 arrests for the most violent FEDERAL crimes ... that is, attacking Federal property and/or Federal police/National Guard defending said property ... I bring this up because Federal crimes AREN'T looting Walgreens, they are politically-motivated ... and goes on to say that of those 80, FOUR were ID'd as rightwing,
So, if they don't ID by "inspiration" how did they ID these four in the first place?
And what are the other 76? Chopped liver?
