Walmart, the largest retailer in the US, lashed out at Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri on Twitter. Hawley tweeted he would not certify the results of the US presidential election Jan. 6 because he believed some states did not follow their own election laws, although there has been no evidence of fraud or irregularities. Hawley’s move will force what’s likely to be a drawn-out debate.
"Go ahead. Get your 2 hour debate. #soreloser," Walmart replied to Hawley on Twitter.
Walmart quickly deleted the tweet and apologized, explaining that a social media manager inadvertently sent the tweet from the Walmart account instead of their own personal account. But it wasn’t able to act before Hawley struck back and calls for a boycott of Walmart began to appear.

Pence asked a judge to kill a lawsuit filed by Trump fans seeking to empower him to overturn Biden's election win on January 6
Vice President Mike Pence responded late Thursday to a lawsuit by a group of Trump supporters hoping to push him to overturn Joe Biden's election victory.
But Pence wants no part of it — in his response, government lawyers argued that the suit was misdirected. Pence also declined an earlier chance to join the lawsuit.

Walmart and Sam's Club are taking a severe beating by Amazon since even before the shutdowns happened.
They know where their bread and butter comes from, and they're not about to just burn their empire down over some wackjob who had the password to WalMart's twitter account.
