THUGR, what in god's name makes you believe that the elite have any interest in telling you the truth, about anything?
Here's one truth: The rich get rich by extracting wealth from THUGR's pocket (unless THUGR is one of the elite, which I doubt). That's why we have JO kicked out of a job and scraping by, and SIX lost several jobs and scraping by, and JSF busting his butt for subsistence-pay. Not because they didn't work hard and weren't productive, but because the rich found cheaper labor in China and scraped them off.
You will never hear this essential truth: not from the elite, not from their hangers-on politicians, and certainly not from the corporate media.
If they lie about that, what else do they lie about to protect their pocketbooks?
They're not your friend, or your substitute parent. They have their interests, which don't include yours.

Washington — A nearly 1,000-page report released by the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday documented a broad set of links and interactions between Russian government operatives and members of the 2016 Trump campaign, adding new details and dimensions to the account laid out last year by special counsel Robert Mueller and raising counterintelligence concerns about certain Russian efforts that may have persisted into the 2020 election season.
Tuesday's report was the committee's final, and long-awaited, chapter in its more than three-year investigation into Russia's 2016 election interference, marking the conclusion of what was held up as the last and arguably only bipartisan congressional investigation into the matter. Spanning 966 pages, it concluded, as have other assessments of Russia's efforts, that Moscow "engaged in an aggressive, multifaceted effort to influence, or attempt to influence, the outcome of the 2016 presidential election."

Yanno, in the run-up to GWB's Iraq invasion, I wrote to my Senator, Diane Feinstein, about what a load of hogwash "IRAQ WMD" was, and she (head of the Senate Intelligence Committee at the time) sent back a smarmy email which I still have in my files "explaining" that, well, as Chair of the Intelligence Committee, she had info that I didn't.
What she had was a load of hooey.
What possible motive do ANY of them have for telling you the truth?
These people are getting seriously rich doing what the lobbyists tell them to do. Do you think they're going to come clean on that?
Mike Pompeo, former director of the CIA, openly said "We lied, we cheated, we stole, (chuckles) we had entire training courses.. It* reminds you of the glory of the American experiment (laughter and applause)".
