i liked it too. in fact, i own it. still, i thought it was kind of sad at the end. of course, the writers end with an uplifting scene where the two of them meet in the elevator, but the alternate storyline ending is quite sad (obviously). i look at it this way. the viewer is never meant to distinguish about which storyline is "real". they are both played as being equally realistic in the context of the movie. if we assume that, then her death is just as "real" as her survival. that makes is quite sad to me. i get a little choked up when she dies. :(
