Welcome to Day 1440.
Today in one sentence: Mitch McConnell blocked a House-passed bill to increase stimulus checks in the coronavirus relief package from $600 to $2,000; the House voted to override Trump’s veto of the $740 billion National Defense Authorization Act; Trump signed the coronavirus stimulus package and spending bill to avert a government shutdown, but not before two unemployment programs expired; the CDC predicts that the U.S. will see 400,000 coronavirus deaths by the time Trump leaves office on Jan. 20, 2021; and Trump issued 26 new pardons, including for Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner's father.

Not sure here. I’d love to get the money, and the republicans did place in the covid bill an amendment to allow for a tax write off for three martini lunches. They also recently pushed through that trillion dollar a year tax cut for the very rich and corporate America.
However, even those who’ve not lost their jobs and people with high incomes would get these checks. That’s a lot of money going to people who shouldn’t get it. Still, they have had ample time to see that that didn't happen and they wasted it.

I don't want you to kill yourself, Marcos.
In fact, I think once you realize what you voted in there's going to be a bit of a change around here and we're probably going to be agreeing with each other on things more often than not.
Just got to wait until Trump's out of the way so you can see it first.

What have you done today to earn your place in this crowded world? :)

He still thinks he's an "enlightened person".
The delusion is strong with this one

How does one BEGIN to get a narcissist to see they aren't the greatest thing in the universe??

Congratulations, Nilbog.
You've managed to find something that dwarfs the dozens of IQ points that I've got on you.
YOU and the "Greatest Thing in the Universe" are absolute polar opposites.
I'm perfectly copacetic lying somewhere in the middle, firmly above you in every conceivable manner.

What have you done today to earn your place in this crowded world? :)

You don't wish. That said, you can continue to call him a moron. You can continue to laugh at his wacko conspiracy theories. You can continue to call out his need to call himself smart, because he knows somewhere in his awareness he is not.
