Quote:Trump has been in courts 50 times and lost because his claim is NOT real. There was the equivalent of the electoral college for US Senators, where each state legislature preformed the same function as the electoral college, until the 17th amendment passed.

Her claim of having the vote "stolen" from her is ridiculous. The difference between her claim and Trump's? Hers is phony, his is real.

The electoral college has a history of being the second stupidest portion of the Constitution, after slavery, but it gives advantage to select group of people, as did slavery in the Constitution. Slavery got kicked out of the Constitution, but only after a million people died. How many have to die to be rid of the electoral college? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Electoral_College

Hillary Clinton is still bitter about her presidential election loss in 2016.
“I was the candidate that they

basically stole an election from,” Clinton said Monday on the New York Times podcast “Sway.”
“I was the candidate who won nearly three million more votes. So no matter how they cut it, it wasn’t the kind of win that people said, ‘OK, it wasn’t my candidate, but OK.’ This election is still front and center in people’s psyches. And people fight about it every day online, because there is a deep sense of unfairness and just dismissiveness toward his victory, and he knows it,” Clinton said.
Clinton blamed her loss in certain key states on former FBI Director James Comey’s letter Congress announcing the existence of emails under investigation. “I absolutely thought I was going to win. So did everybody else. I mean, I know people look back now and say, well, it wasn’t — we were going to win. We were absolutely going to win.”
Clinton also claimed that she was “born” for the presidency, explaining to podcast host Kara Swisher....
Her election loss, Clinton complained, was partially due to a disinformation campaign stemming from “vast right-wing conspiracy.”
“There were academic studies done afterward, lots of them, about why people ended up not voting for me, and it was shocking what they believed. I mean, the disinformation was incredibly pervasive,” Clinton said.
Quote:And let's not forget all of those sexists out there!
Clinton also said that the fact that she is a woman also played a role in her loss.
“There is something deeply unsettling to a strata of American voters about a woman getting that close to being president,” Clinton.

The Comey Letter Probably Cost Clinton The Election
So why won’t the media admit as much?

Clinton’s decision to give paid speeches to investment banks, or her messaging on pocket-book issues, or the role that her gender played in the campaign — is hard to measure. The impact of Comey’s letter is comparatively easy to quantify, by contrast. At a minimum, its impact might have been only a percentage point or so. Still, because Clinton lost Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin by less than 1 point, the letter was probably enough to change the outcome of the Electoral College.

SECONDARTE Comey accused Hillary of being a felon three time immediately before the election. If you don't think that had no effect on voters, you are nuts, Signym.
In JULY, Comey announced that they would NOT recommend criminal charges against Hillary for her use of a private email server.
Them he announced that they found additional emails on Anthony Weiner's laptop. Weiner was Huma Abdin's husband, and she was a close Clinton aide.
THEN he announced that there was no new information on the lapop, closing the investigation.
IMHO, looking into Hillary's use of a private email server for State Department business was a legitimate investigation. SIMPLY KNOWING THAT SHE HAS 33,000 EMAILS ON A PRIVATE SERVER WAS ENOUGH TO TAINT HER, IN MY MIND, AND WHEN SHE HAD THEM DESTROYED AFTER THEY WERE SUBPOENAED WAS JUST ANOTHER NAIL IN THE COFFIN. Again, IMHO, Clinton should have been indicted for obstruction of justice when her emails were destroyed AFTER having been subpoenaed. But that's just me. COMEY BASICALLY ABSOLVED CLINTON OF WRONGDOING.
NOW, COMPARE THIS TO HOW TRUMP WAS TREATED
During Trump's ENTIRE campaign and Presidency, he was constantly hounded by false allegations that he or his campaign "colluded" with Russians, that he was Putin's cock-holter, sock puppet, what-have-you. Salacious "details" (fictional) were CONSTANTLY "leaked" to the press by CIA, State Department, and FBI personnel in a coordinate campaign to delegitimize his authority.
Hillary, sad to say, sounds like an entitled, whiny byatch. NOT strong woman that I could point to as a role model, but a sneaky, war-mongering, entitled grifter who had a history of detroying/ hiding evidence (twice), who was associatd with such an unfortunate string of murders, deaths and suicides by anyone who might testify gainst them, whose husband appears to have partaken of Epstein's island of girls (multiple times), who advocated the the destruction of Libya and was responsible for Benghazi (trying to bame it on a spontaneous reaction to some B-grade movie) and who STILL can't take responsibility for losing.

Quote:The issue that I care about is Trump's income taxes. He hasn't paid in 20 years. He hasn't paid while in the White House. If he isn't forced to pay before he is dead, the IRS might just as well stop bothering to collect taxes from the wealthy. In that case, Congress needs to decide if its official policy will be that the wealthy don't pay. If it is NOT policy, then Congress should force the IRS to brutally collect from Trump, his children, and similar scofflaws. There are almost 7 million articles giving details of Trump's tax cheating. Maybe the IRS needs to read a few of them for inspiration to do their job?

When there are air-crashes, the FAA hears about it on the news and then investigates. Trump's taxes have been the equalent of a major air-crash every April 15th for decades in the news. When is the IRS going to the crash site and look at the wreckage and arrest the stinking drunk pilot, Donald J Trump?

Yes, I know ... taxes. That is your sole concern because it's prolly the ONLY way that you can tell yourself you're a good person: You pay your taxes.
First of all, I dispute your characterization of your POV. YOU participated in the RUSSIA!RUSSIA! hysteria on many occasions, gasping along with every "revelation" of Rachel Madcow, even stooping to libel both me and KIKI as "Russian trolls" when you know exactly who I am. You derided Trump and Trump voters endlessly as "racists". You claimed he was a rapist, and a swindler. You were CERTAIN he abused his powers, offering Ukraine a "quid pro quo" when the transcript clearly shows no such thing, while Joe Biden quite clearly, publicly, and on camera bragged about doing exactly that.
It's a little late to try and rewrite your posts, seeing as you have left clear and multiple evidence to the contrary. Are you lying to yourself? Or just to us?
But clearly, you don't care about truth, rule of law, Constitutional protections, democracy, politicized prosecutions, national production, trade imbalances, ecological destruction, honest business, racism, sexism, or any of that. The thing that you REALLY care about is hating "republicans" and you will sling any shit to further that hate.
You have done that, over and over, on just this page alone. It doesn't matter how many times you're proven wrong, or lying, you just keep on doing the same thing over and over.
So, done with you for now. But thanks for being a perfect example of a hate-filled, twisted person.

So, to get back to the FACTS - it's true that Hillary* and the DNC* repeatedly claimed that the 2016 was 'stolen' (not just allegorically 'stolen', but literally using that word stolen, stole, steal, etc), and that that was dutifully carried, amplified, and opined by the m$m, to politicize the democratic* base.
If democrats* don't do any different, how are they any better?
And when Biden* fails to keep his promises - or even promote them - I'll be happy to laugh at his skinny saggy ass parading all over town in his New Clothes™.

The presidential election wasn’t close. Joe Biden won. His Electoral College victory was larger than either of George W. Bush’s.
Yet, Donald Trump still refuses to concede. The soon-to-be-ex-president tried to pressure Republican legislators to overturn the election results in the states where Biden’s margin of victory was narrow. They rebuffed him. His legal team filed 59 suits to subvert the popular will — and lost every one of them. The president has even tried to enlist the help of the Supreme Court, which pointedly ignored him.
All of these strategies have failed. Despite many accusations of fraud, the president and his party have been unable to produce even one piece of credible evidence. Wherever recounts took place — two counties in Wisconsin, statewide in Georgia three times — they confirmed Biden’s victory.
Trump’s latest plan is to skip the inauguration on January 20, 2021 and hold a rally in Florida to announce his intention to run again in 2024.
Trump’s sore-loser performance is pathetic. But the denialism embraced by the Republican Party is far more disgraceful, since it represents the failing of an entire institution as opposed to the psychopathy of a single individual. Worse, this electoral denialism is just one of several large-scale delusions that threaten to undermine democracy, tear apart the country, and compromise efforts to address global scourges like COVID-19 and climate change.
Donald Trump has always been a lose-lose kind of guy. His bankruptcies — financial, moral, and otherwise — have always translated into catastrophe for everyone else as well. Now, in losing the 2020 election, he is determined to do whatever he can to burn down the house.

I found evidence . . . that Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani will lose another case:

The petition is “frivolous”, said Joshua Douglas, an election law professor. “The Court will shut it down quickly.”
