This is AS OF 2018 because, well the CDC has NO FIGURES available for 2019 or for 2020(to date). So, what CDC figures is he claiming 'show' that 2020 is the same as 2018? THERE ARE NO CDC FIGURES FOR 2020.

I don't want to hear any whining from the Boomer Generation that squandered the wealth of the nation and left everybody else with the scraps.
You should have saved some of that money from using your houses as your own personal ATM machines.
You're already getting the largest Social Security/Medicare payouts while only having put in a fraction of what people today are required to put into the system while also being told that they'll only be getting 70% of the payout when they retire if they're lucky.

a) Assuming that everyone in the "boomer" generation is a wealth-squanderer is just as offensive - and wrong- as assuming that all white males are privileged. Looking around at my age bracket, I don't see ANY wealth-squanderers. The people I know are all hard-working people who did their best to meet their responsibilities an save for their retirement and (in our case) their children.
You had a bad childhod experience. Boo hoo. Stop pitying yourself an feeling so entitled. Stop being such a Karen.
2) The people who used their houses as piggybanks, by and large, were people who were first-time buyers in the years 2000- 2008, and they were NOT boomers, but younger than that.
3) The Social Security payout is a function of demographics and inflation, NOT because the payouts are so damn cozy! There is a large "lump" of people in the boomer generation (that's why it's called "boomer", duh!) and the dollar has been STEADILY losing value for at almost 110 years. Even at a "mere" 2% inflation rate, the dollar loses half of its value in 15 years. Shocking, I know. We can thank The Fed (founded in 1913) for its policy of continued inflation.
The minimum Social Security payout, which is what most peple get, is about $1360 a month, and that is after working and paying into the system for at least 40 quarters. It's hardly a lavish lifestyle. And the maximum payment isn't at all equal to the money that is put into it- hubby and I would have been better off of we had not been in the system at all and simply saved our money. And, btw, it's taxable.
4) If you want to blame ANYBODY for your current prospects, blame the elites who hollowed out the economy.
You remeber training your Indian replacement(s), do you not? THAT was the problem. not the generation before.
5) If you want the ship to be righted and live in an economy where your prospects are at least as good as your parents', you (plural) have to push for a self-sufficient American economy that isn't fighting Vietamese for the last scraps of rice in the bottom of the barrel.
I know I'm preaching to the choir on this as far as you're concerned, SIX, but there are a lot of people your age and younger who have NO IDEA of what a real functioning economy should look like, and think that an economy full of barristas and Uber drivers and lawyers and financial consultants is entirely normal, when we should have an economy of steelworkers, punchpress operators, welders, truckers, plumbers, textile workers, programmers, farmers, foresters, etc.
If you live in an economy with poorer prospects than "they" did, it's not "their" fault. "They" didn't set up the rules and decide to impoverish the USA and offshore to India, China, and elsewhere. And it isn't the boomer generation cheering that on, it's people like CC, and younger, who feel that they can endlessly bu
