Every morning I pour myself a cuppa Joe and turn on the ol' computer. I get my e-mail, read the headlines and check my bank balance. Then I go to this shiney web site to see if there are any new threads that pique my interest. My fellow browncoats are so uhm...interesting that I figured you all might be able to reccomend some neat, unusual, intriguing sites to help me broaden my horizons. Thanks in advance. Oh and by the way, no porn. ok?

One of my favorites is SelectSmart.com. It's a bunch of online quizzes, and while a lot of them are not that intellectual (although still fun), the philosophy and religion selectors are quite interesting and tend to make you think.

I would love to reccomend The BuffyGuide Forums. There always entertaining, with over 400 users too. Feel free to register and dive into the discussions!

Its not just for Buffy/Angel fans too. The off-topic convos are so entertaining!

www.snopes.com is always fun--they research, report, and debunk various urban legends, hoaxes, myths, e-mail scams, etc. Lots of interesting stuff, not porn.

www.freearcade.com is fun if you need to kill time with REEEEAAALLLLLLYYYY cheesey games.

www.nerve.com is not porn, per se, but IS a bit on the raunchy side at times (it's a very New York mentality site).

www.theonion.com is ALWAYS great. It's pretty much the ultimate news-farce.

I tend to get my news updates from www.msnbc.com, myself.

Check a few of those out, they rarely disappoint me.

www.homestarrunner.com - awesomely funny flash 'toons. You need to see it..go..go now...c'mon, get over there already!

www.imdb.com - inevitably movies and actors come up in class discussions, so this is a good resource.

www.ebgames.com - just to see if they have North and South available for my NES yet. If you have it and want to sell it, email me!

Those are all the non-porn ones that come to mind here at the end of my work day. :)

One of the fun sites I visit on occasion is Cockeyed (not porn - the creator is named Rob Cockerham): http://www.cockeyed.com

Rob doesn't update that much but there's plenty of stuff in the various thumbnailed sections to keep you occupied for a while. My favorite section is the "How much is inside?" one.
