Some Covid-19 thoughts

On April 13th Trump told America the virus was slowing down and the government had it under control. The day before was Easter and he wanted everyone back at work. Schools opened and sports up and going. Remember that? That was about 85 thousand deaths ago. Predictions for December, early January are about 400,000 will have died. Why so high? Trump supporters who refuse to wear a mask. And because Trump downplayed the virus to the public. He also stupidly made wearing a mask a partisan issue.
This was right after, I'll say that again, right after, he told Woodward. It's a plague, a killer. If you’re the wrong person who gets this you don’t stand a chance. That it traveled through the air and is much worse than the worst flu. At his rally this week in Arizona. His staff made sure everyone on the stage behind Trump was wearing a mask. He didn’t care about those out front. Why, because he was at a safe distance. And because like those who server our country, to Trump all those who buy into his bullshit are suckers and losers. Don't think you need a mask? If you went in for surgery would you be ok with the surgeons and other staff not wearing masks? I don't think so. And would you sign a disclaimer not to sue it you got a virus because of that? I don't think so.

Current number is 197,733 Jack. People are dying that fast. And I never claimed there are exactly 1000 deaths a day . That's the average.

NYC isn't rich anymore. Half the businesses were destroyed by the lockdown and most of the rich folk are moving out of state.
