It's funny second. The guys premise that people are trying to take Bush down, is based on people expressing their dislike for Bush's policies. Like going into Iraq. Nothing is more American than having and voicing your opinion. Except for people who hate America for what it is, and want to recreate America in their image.

I can't imagine how you people can post about Trump's lies when the M$M has been publishing lies about Trump for YEARS.
It's impossible to tally up the lies that have been published about him -the most recent one being the "dead veterans are losers", published by The Atlantic, which has been denied by John Bolton (of all people!) and others who were there with Trumpand who were witnesses to what Trump did, and said.
My god, the number of lies told about Trump is dizzying. "Quid pro quo" (never happened). Trump is mentally incompetent. Trump's border policies are racist. Trump is a Nazi. Trump is responsible for all Covid deaths. Trump colluded with Russia to get elected.... screeched endlessly, for years, sometimes (looking at YOU, Rachel Madcow!).
..and those are just the big ones!

Trump was wrong when he said Obama had him wiretapped. (Uh, no, Trump was essentialy correct.) Trump was wrong about HCQ. (Er, no, he was at least partly right.) Antifa and BLM are promoting violence in the cities (Right about that one, too) Trump is responsible for everything bad that has been accumulating over decades and decades of Fderal corruption and mismanagement.
Saddam had WMD. Assad gassed his own people. Russia poisoned Navalny. Noriega was a drug runner. Juan Guaido is the legitimate President of Venezuela.
Pot calling the kettle black, much?
If you're so dedicated to "the truth", you might want to practice telling it one in a while. Of course, that would mean that you recognize it and apply your standards fairly and objectively, but that is prolly beyond you.

I wouldn't even bother engaging with them on this topic, Sigs.
Woodward is a hack. This is just another Billy Bush style hit piece that they think is going to go somewhere. They forget that Billy Busy style hit pieces is what they've been doing to Trump for 4 years now.
Then they've spent 2020 lying about COVID since the beginning as well as lying about the protests and making this country more divided since it ever has been since the Civil War.
Nobody trusts the media anymore.
Enthusiasm for Trump is higher than any incumbent president we've had in most of our lifetimes. The media is trying to downplay this, and tech firms are trying to silence anybody who is getting that news out there.
At this point, I suspect a Trump re-election is what they want, and they also want to build everything up so it all gets crushed when he wins again. These last 4 years have been massively profitable to the Legacy Media firms which owe no allegiance to America and its citizens.

Comrade Sig doesn't understand how we can trust the main stream media because according to her, they've been lying about Trump for years. No sig, no they haven't. She feels instead, we should follow her warped logic. No comrade, not going to happen.
Once again another flawed argument. The biggest flaw in her thinking, is believing anyone reads more than a few sentences of what she posts anymore. After a while one learns to ignore the rest because it’s all nothing more than bullshit.
Also, I believe in the main stream media. They may not be perfect but the alternative is to embrace lies conspiracy theories and innuendo. All you need do is listen to Trump to see I'm right. That is, if for once you managed to be honest with yourself and others.

Trump has dismissed those warnings while advocating theories the report and the intelligence community say are being propagated by Russian intelligence services.

The president’s campaign made clear Tuesday that it views any examination of Russia’s role in the 2016 election as an attempt to besmirch the president that should be summarily dismissed rather than examined for lessons to be learned about threats to U.S. elections.

A normal presidency in normal times would have been indelibly marked by any one of the thousands of whoppers Trump has excreted. Ask Bill Clinton or Richard Nixon about that.
But Trump’s mendacities — more numerous and more brazen than those of any president before him — are different. Forget dominating history, they often fall short of even dominating a news cycle. Again: There is so much. One’s ability to be indignant — or even to pay attention — is simply overwhelmed.
He lies about voting by mail, about laws he passed, about jobs he created, about his border wall, about defunding the police, about the weather. It becomes a challenge to even keep track.
