Stupid people don't know they're stupid, and they certainly don't realize how obvious it is to others.
Son, see if your little mind can comprehend this: You can't have it both ways. This virus is a shit sandwich no matter which side you bite, and no matter who is doing the biting.
Nations that have beat the virus have done so with such draconian measures that YOU would object: Lockdowns. Separation of families. Mass sterilization of common surfaces. Required masking, with imprisonment if not. Yanno, like Communist China, or Australia, or the UK.
Do you think their economies haven't taken a beating?
Nations that were unwilling, or unable, to lockdown saw huge spikes in excess deaths, like Sweden, Italy, Spain, India, and the USA.
And even those nations that managed to slow the infection rate by locking down only saw a TEMPORARY reprieve, as their infection rates rose the moment they let their foot off the pedal.
Unless you have an EFFECTIVE plan B for AFTER lockdown, you will not be able to eradicate the virus. It's so infectious that any small residual infected population can cause another explosion in cases.
Fortunately, treatment therapies have improved and several medications including HCQ, ivermectin, steroids and anticoagulants have come to the fore. Masking is still an option, as is universal testing and contact tracing.

You can misrepresent what I've posted all you want. Your reputation is that all you post is bullshit, lies and Russian propaganda comrade. I'd add, 99% of what I've posted is what's being reported on in the news. So asshole, it's the media you are arguing with. They report Trump did this and Trump did that and you say it’s all lies; simple.
You and others here dismiss the media as being fake. Unless what's being reported suits you. How hypocritical is that? So, much of your information comes from other unsubstantiated sources. Sources that don’t report on researched evidence but instead opinions and falsehoods. Some is based on tribalism. Other arguments you guys present are based on sentiments based in tribalism. Much of what you post is abhorrent lies.
This is because you have no accurate or correct information to post. And this is because you guys refuse to acknowledge the truth. You’re stupid, dishonest, minions to others, as well as anti-anti-Trumpers. In simpler terms, mentally unstable.

Most Approve of National Response to COVID-19 in 14 Advanced Economies
But many also say their country is more divided due to the outbreak

What is a Trump "performance"? It is very straightforward: Trump relishes his role as a divider as he vows to be 'vicious'

ision-joe-biden/index.html
"At no time before has there been a clearer choice between two parties or two visions, two philosophies, two agendas for the future. There's never been anything like this," Trump said during the rally where he claimed he was "probably entitled" to a third term because he's been so poorly treated. "The Democrats are trying to rig this election, because it's the only way they're gonna win," he said.

The hypocrisy of the left in full effect.
Don't bother trying to explain this to any of them. They can't comprehend it because simply reading words isn't going to make them understand. They would have to take a huge step back from all of this and a very, very, very long and hard look into the mirror and re-evaluate, deconstruct, and rebuild their very perception of reality. One in which they can voice an opinion on any given day and not have it completely contradict what they said last month, last week or even five minutes ago.
The internet has made this an impossible task for people who are driven purely by emotion and have no real critical thinking skills. They live 100% immersed in their emotions and all of the brain-chemical hits they're self-medicating with. It has made them nothing more than reactionary puppets to the narrative. Constantly bombarded with the next outrage story that was never fact-checked before it was put out there, and almost never cites a single source that wasn't anonymous.
I'm not saying that there isn't any hope for them in the future, but you're not going to fix them with words. Something serious has to come down on them to get them to break that cycle.
They're addicts.

Amazing, Jack just described everyone who relies on the internet for their news as reactionary puppets. He just described himself, sig and Kiki.
The rest of us get our news from the main stream media. You know, what’s being reported in the actual news. You know, what’s being reported on by the mainstream press. You know, what is actually fact checked.
Not, what is posted on the internet designed to prey on your emotions. Not what is posted on the internet that once clicked on uses algorithms designed to give you more of the same. Nope, that's where jack gets his information. The rest of what he posts is mindless bullshit.
What a fucking moron.

Quote:Nowhere did Signy claim anything was a 'lie'. What jawn posted was that the facts are devastating either way. EITHER you let it run rampant and take the hit in deaths and long-term medical consequences while trying to minimize the immediate economic impact OR you effectively suppress it through draconian or at least very expensive and comprehensive measures and take the GDP hit.
THUGGER: So asshole, it's the media you are arguing with. They report Trump did this and Trump did that and you say it’s all lies; simple.
Well, there's a middle way - you try to slow it down through simple cheap measure like wearing masks, social distancing, and handwashing; and widely available timely testing; but nobody seems interested in that. (When it comes to protecting at-risk populations, the US is 42% at-risk due to obesity alone, so trying to come up with separate protective policies for that category of people is imo not worth it.)
