So, let's look into one statement that Politifact deems FALSE:
The $3 trillion for Covid stimulus, we're basically borrowing from China
Well, I don't see anything egregiously wrong with that statement. The USA funds its debts by selling Treasuries, and China IS a major buyer of our debt. They're not the only one, but China is often #1 in the rankings.
If you actually READ the background data from that link, it says that currently Japan is #1, with $1.27 trillion, and China is second with $1.09 trillion.
Overall, we're funding about a quarter of our debt thru China, so by the numbers the statement is about 25% true.
I read thru many of his other statements that are considered to be "false" by Politico but they're based in truth.
