Unfortunately, Kyle is just one of thousands of potential future shooters, all of whom seem to share his massive affinity to the “Blue Lives Matter” movement, a racist reaction to the Black Lives Matter movement.
All we can do is hope that Trump’s violent rhetoric — and that of Matt Gaetz, Tom Cotton, and other Republicans who keep inciting self-styled “patriots” to vigilante justice — won’t spark any more murders on our streets.

Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, called a friend after his first killing. Then he shot two more people, police say. Rittenhouse was arrested 30 miles away in Antioch, Illinois. The armed suspect had walked past a group of officers unnoticed in Wisconsin. An Illinois judge postponed a decision on whether Rittenhouse would be extradited back to Wisconsin until at least September 25. The Judge had no explanation for the delay.
Rittenhouse's lawyer, John Pierce, said, "This was classic self-defense and we are going to prove it. We will obtain justice for Kyle no matter how hard the fight takes or how long it takes." Pierce is a noted conservative lawyer whose firm has represented Mayor Rudy Giuliani, so it is pretty certain the GOP got the murdering child a lawyer.

Kellyanne Conway, one of Trump’s top White House advisers, suggested that the White House has no interest in trying to lower political tensions any time soon. “The more chaos and anarchy and vandalism and violence, the better it is for the very clear choice on who’s best on public safety, law and order,” she explained. It might as well have been an endorsement of Joe Biden.
