So who is the best star in the show apart from our great crew of Serenity ?

Mark Sheppard - who plays the crook with the English-cockney accent ( Badger )

Bonnie Bartlett who did a wonderful role

Doug Savant when he played the Alliance ship Captain

Jeff Ricket's Mr hands of blue doesn't say much but he looks creepy !!
We didn't come all they way out here to track down some missing band-aids

Melinda Clarke who played the brothel girl - Inara's friend Nandy, -- > spelt ? Nandi, Nandie ?

Did I forget any ?

Sir Warrick Harrow, in Shindig. Ably played by veteran character actor Larry Drake.

I've been thinking about writing a backstory on Sir Warrick. I doubt he was a "Sir" all his life.

...or Michael Fairman as Niska in "The Train Job" and "War Stories"... or Gregg Henry (the sheriff in "The Train Job")...
or Larry Drake (Sir Warrick Harrow in "Shindig")... or William Converse-Roberts and Isabella Hoffman (Gabriel and Regan Tam in "Safe")...or Richard Brooks (Jubal Early in "Objects in Space).

There were a lot of great supporting performances.

FarscapePKWars:

I personally identified with the third Mudder from the left in the 'confrontation' scene from Jaynestown.

No, your 'military left'... Not that one, the one sorta standing off to his left and behind him, peaking over the other guy's shoulder... With the weird hat... Sorta milling around trying not make eye contact with the camera, while simultaneously trying to appear emotionally charged about the showdown... Yeah, that one.

He really brought the show home to me. Like Joss himself said (paraphrased): Firefly's not about the people who made history; it's about the extras who work for scale and a shot at the luncheon meat and fresh fruit buffet...

Identifiably,

zoid

P.S.
You know it occurred to me as I misspelled 'Jaynestown' (it got better), how much the word resembles 'Jonestown' (as in Jim Jones' Town). I wonder if "Mudders' Milk" owes it's heritage to "Guyana Punch"?
