True Sigs, but like I said in another thread, despite what Uncle Joey thinks, "blacks" are not a monolith. There are already a good deal of black folk who weren't going to vote for Biden before all that resist stuff started coming out of his mouth. Trump did manage to get double digit votes from blacks in 2016.

And I'm probably more polish than Kamala is "black". Her mom is 100% not black, and her dad was a mix. Tiger Woods is at least twice as black as Kamala is.

And don't think that Trump isn't going to be putting her tough-on-crime targeted-at-black record on blast now that she's been named VP.

And a lot of those well meaning white progressive folk are certainly not happy today. Only the most racist and sexist among them are impressed with Kamala as the VP pick. The only thing she brings to the ticket is checking off the "not-white" and "not-male" boxes.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

Yet again, San Francisco foists upon America another one of their worse local politicians of all time.

It gets even better...

Marcos is going to LOVE this if he hasn't already heard the news.

Cenk Uygur and The Young Turks were denied a press pass for the Democratic National Convention.

Two huge blows to the flag-burning American Socialists by the Establishment Democrats in two days. First Kamala and now this. Looks like they had enough of your shit and just said Fuck You, Marcos.

Let's see if they still wanna vote blue, no matter who.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

Whoops... Didn't realize that the TYT snub happened the day before. Seems this is the first time they've not been invited since they showed up in 2004.

Now...

Who wants to place some bets that the entire Legacy Media does a 100% blackout of any AOC and Omar coverage until after the election?

You already lost the bet because Teen Vogue (that's Legacy Media) reported today that Ilhan Omar's Primary Election Win Means the Whole Squad Is Likely Headed Back to Congress.

LOL at the idea that Teen Vogue is the Legacy Media.

Is OK Magazine the Legacy Media too?

Nah... Teen Vogue is lefty brainwashing for female tweens.

Lucy Diavolo didn't get the memo because nobody considered her important enough that they even thought to send her one.

They'll keep a muzzle on "The Squad" until November 4th.

And BTW... whoopdie do.

Somebody should let Omar know she comes from the only state that voted against Reagan in 1984.

What the article fails to mention is that even though she got 30,000 more votes in the primary than she got last time, so did the opposition. They might have even gained ground, given that she only came out with 60% of the vote despite her 30,000 extra votes.

2 more years of the squad's bullshit and you're going to see never before imagined record primary turnout in their districts.

The Squad (real patriots) are all easily going to be reelected.
There's something about representing your constituents rather than corporate sponsors that people naturally respond to, and these ladies have done exactly that.

5th Place: - 70.1%
6th place: - 100% (No 6th candidate in 2020)

Ilhan Omar should have done better than that, if we're to believe the top notch reporting at Teen Vogue.

She only increased her vote total lead over the 2nd place finisher by 5,303 votes from 2018, despite the fact that there were 46,419 more votes given to both the 1st and 2nd place finishers.

Total votes in mid-term 2018 general for 5th district: 343,358
Total votes in Democrat mid-term 2018 primary for 5th district: 135,317
Total votes in Republican mid-term 2018 primary for 5th district: 15,367

Total votes in Republican 2020 primary for 5th district: 11,386
Total 2020 primary votes: 172,324

Percentage of votes in 2020 primary compared to 2018 general: 51.2%

There was an increase of over 7% for primary voters in 2020 vs 2018. This could be because it's not a mid-term. But it also could be because more money was spent getting awareness out about how The Squad and other Justice Democrats who hate America work.

I'm going to go with the 2nd option, given that there was a decrease of 3,981 (-25.9%) of Republican primary voters from 2018 to 2020, despite the fact that there was an overall increase of 21,640 total primary votes (+14.4%), and given the fact that Minnesota has a completely open primary system in place. ( https://ballotpedia.org/Voting_in_Minnesota)

Relatively speaking, more people came out to vote against Illhan Omar in 2020 than for her in 2018. Some of those were people who voted Republican in the primary in 2018.

People just need to be educated. In places where Justice Democrats are winning by primarying the opponents, they need to be made aware that the primary election is far more important to the citizens of their state than the general election is.
