You so *totally* ROCK!!!

Thank you and please go ahead!

BTW, I have wanted to ask you this before, but is your screen name a shout out to Siouxie and the Banshees? Just curious.

Thanks again!!!

Mal: Well, we're still flyin'.
Simon: That's not much.
Mal: It's enough.

My pleasure - I'd love to see this happen and hopefully we'll get so many responses you'll be turning people away (just not me!)

And, yes, my name is totally a shoutout to Siouxsie (altho sadly I'm not familiar with much of their music - just love the name!)

Cool!

Yep, I'm that old... ;)

I only know some of her songs that were videos back when MTV played music videos... ;)

Even though I selfishly do want this to happen, I also want it to happen for all Browncoats because if we can prove there is a demand for exclusively Firefly content then we might get more exclusive con events or even cons! :)

Last year at Grand Slam they had a Stargate breakfast that sold out very quickly and Amanda and Michael were at the con itself and got a fantastic crowd reaction and this year there are *all* kinds of Stargate conventions all over the US. I was kind of hoping that could happen to us...

Thanks again for your help! :)

I would go. Live in Ventura and was planning on going to the convention.

Count me in too - I'm gonna email my friend in Toronto, who is also coming (not sure if with her husband or not, since we're actually having a friendly discussion as to who gets to kidnap Nathan -j/k-) and the receptionist at work, who is also attending Grand Slam. Will post more the moment I know, but for now it's just silly old me. And happy!

MAL: If anyone gets nosy, just, you know...
shoot 'em.
ZOE: Shoot 'em?
MAL: Politely.

*Rocking*! How's my new word? ;)

30 to go, woohoo!! :)

If all the maybes become definites there would be less than 20 to go... :)

Thank you!

How much is it to attend Grand Slam? I looked on their website and saw a bunch of ticket prices to have your picture taken with a star and I saw this golden ticket thing that was $400 which I would not shell out to go.

FYI, you don't need to attend Grand Slam to attend the reception (reception is going to be $65, if it happens). However the only ticket prices they have listed now are the gold tickets which are three day packages with perks. They will list additional ticket options soon I believe. Usually they have a cheaper three day ticket behind the gold then they have daily reserved and then they have general admission tickets. If you look around their other cons that are coming up before Grand Slam you can see roughly what their usual pricing structure is. A little bit for each taste! ;)

FYI, I just checked and the daily general admission tickets for other events seem to run between $35 and $50 depending on who the guests are that day.
