Strip away all of the related but irrelevant images of "fascism" and you will find that fascism is an ECONOMIC system, like feudalism, capitalism, or socialism; NOT a political one. It has nothing to do with democracy or one-party rule or monarchy or elections or other political systems by which societies are governed/controlled. It also has nothing to do with racism or sexism or genocide ... it can, indeed, be an equal-opportunity destroyer.
The point of fascism is for government to make the rules such that they benefit large corporations, and ONLY large corporations. So tax laws, labor laws, environmental laws are all twisted to benefit the wealthiest of the wealthy so that they can control society to their own benefit.
To say that racists are fascist, or that fascists are racist, is a misunderstanding of fascism.
I hate racism. I also hate fascism. But they're not the same. To blame racism as the cause of ALL of our problems is a diversion from the effects of fascism.
