Apparently there are riots and demonstrations in Seattle, Atlanta, Chicago, Portland.
I've seen riots and demonstrations as bad and worse, but that was over THE DRAFT. It was an existential question for many young men: Whether their draft number was low enough that they'd be sent to Vietnam to kill and possibly be killed or maimed. (SECOND jumped into that quagmore with both feet, so to speak. He believed lies.)
And what it BLM/Antifa getting all worked up about?
Statues. Statues that wouldn't make a damn but of difference to anybody if they stood or fell.
When I see such pointless, media-driven frenzy, the first thing I think of is "color revolution": take some point of difference in a population (white/black, male/female, language, religion, whether you make the sign of the cross with our left or right hand...people have been killed over that) and keep hammering on it like a wedge until you split the population.
When TPTB have to foment insurrection and dissolution instead of working towards a future, you know they'verun out of ideas. IMHO they're trying to distract from the upcoming indictments that will see some of them in jail.
I tried to tell you: We need to be working on What are AMERICA'S interest? What solutions can we work towards that work for EVERYBODY?
But that question and thought seems to have been tossed into the ditch in pursuit of your narrow agendas, and the only people that divisiveness works for are the people who pitted us against each other.

Heavily armed, unidentifiable security agents dressed in camouflage have been snatching anti-racism protesters off the streets of Portland, Oregon, and bundling them into unmarked cars, with no clear justification. They're scenes you might expect to see in authoritarian countries, not in America.
It turns out that among the hodge-podge of paramilitary-style officers wearing no name badges were many from the Department of Homeland Security, established after 9/11 primarily to deal with terrorism. More specifically, the officers were from the department's Customs and Border Protection agency, which is supposed "to safeguard America's borders" from dangerous people and materials.
US President Donald Trump has repeatedly branded anti-racism protesters in the country as "terrorists," and his promise to "surge" his paramilitary-style units from Portland to other Democrat-run cities in coming weeks shows he is willing to employ the repressive tactics used by autocrats to vilify those who challenge them.
