Yep, tear it down. And tear down all the American Indian statues as well. History people, learn your history. North America was not a Utopia before Europeans arrived. Not even close.
One reason why many indigenous Americans were actually eager for contact with Europeans was to acquire more advanced weaponry with which to defend themselves and kill their existing enemies. Every early French account from Canada and the Great Lakes attests to this.
There’s a fairly convincing theory out there that the word Iroquois (pronounced “iro-kwé” in 17th-century French) was just a corruption of a Basque-Algonquin pidgin word that meant “the killers” or “the murderers.”[1] (The Iroquois did not traditionally refer to themselves as “Iroquois.”) Basque fishermen and whalers were living with the Algonquian peoples of what became Quebec possibly as early as the late 1400s and witnessed some trauma and terror. The natives of eastern Canada were definitely interested in European weaponry to defend themselves against their enemies in what became the state of New York. Europeans didn’t cause that brutal conflict. They walked into it — and ultimately made it worse — but they didn’t walk into a North American utopia.
When French explorers and traders made it out to the western Great Lakes in the 17th century — 200 years before the slow Brits, Germans and Scandinavians eventually resettled Minnesota and Wisconsin — this was a refugee zone. Seventeenth-century Wisconsin was no empty wilderness, but a lot of people living there had only just come into that area. Green Bay was the destination for lots of groups who were fleeing the Iroquois back east. In some ways, the Great Lakes in the 1600s were the Syria of the day, with the bizarre twist that the Iroquois made raids out to the Midwest not only to kill but to replace their own dead through kidnapping. (A custom not unique to them. But since this is definitely not something practiced by Europeans, from what utopian ideal would it have come, exactly?)
The Dakota people, who lived mostly west of the Mississippi, actively wanted to make contact with the French because the French had weapons with which they could terrorize the Cree out to the west. Europeans hadn’t even been to Minnesota yet, but when they got there, the locals were already fighting and looking for better ways to kill each other. A “utopia”? Hardly.
In the 1600s, French Jesuit priests left hundreds of accounts of warfare — and several became the victims of it — when they wandered into the Great Lakes and Northern Appalachia, a terrifying place 400 years ago. The great historian Richard White, who teaches at Stanford — no home-published hack — looked at all these accounts in The Middle Ground, his classic book on the Great Lakes in what was probably the grisliest period of its history. Here’s a sample. No serious historian disputes this stuff.
The Iroquois onslaught did not halt other wars in the pays d’en haut, and sometime during the Iroquois wars, four or five hundred Miami warriors marched against their southern enemies. In their absence, a band of Senecas destroyed their village. Only one old woman, left for dead, survived. She told the returning Miamis that the Senecas had marched the women and children east.
Every night as the Senecas traveled home, they killed and ate a Miami child. And every morning, they took a small child, thrust a stick through its head and sat it up on the path with its face tNOTIFY: Y | REPLY | REPLY WITH QUOTE | PERMALINK | TOP | HOME

OK, call S.C. Gwynne a chud. You can't win this reaver. History shows all cultures were cruel and savage beyond belief, throughout history. All cultures... I suggest you watch the full interview. Not just the few minutes I posted.

The full interview. The first 8 minutes says it all as far as how savage native Americans were.

Wow. Talk about missing the point.
No one on the planet ever said the Indians were angels.
No one. Ever. In the history of all the world. Stop straw-manning. They cannot be compared to fucking Columbus.
Jesus. Fucking. Christ.

This is what happens when the war on terror is turned inward, on America
Trump has realized that our vast post-9/11 security state can be used to police internal bogeymen like antifa

Yes, they can, absolutely. Everyone needs to be held to account just as they would hold others.
I’m not trying to slander any culture but instead deal in facts. You want to wrap a culture in accountability in a way you won’t wrap other cultures, try again. People who point towards others are pointing away from themselves.

Keep on red pilling Ted.
It's a shame that there are actually good, hard working and tax paying innocient people in these Democrat ran shitholes that have let the Antifa and BLM thugs terrorize.
Otherwise, Trump should just sit back and let the Laurie Lightfoots of the country allow their cities to burn to the ground and show you people for what you truly are.
We've had enough of your bullshit in 2020. If the people can't rely on their local government and police forces to protect them from communist criminals destroying their lives and livelihoods, then Trump is going to do it. That's one of the very few functions that the Government is actually Constitutionally allowed to do.
Actions have consequences.
Do Right, Be Right. :)

According to the most recent ACS, the racial composition of Portland was: White: 77.37% Asian: 7.81% Black or African American: 5.70% Two or more races: 5.45% Other race: 2.28% Native American: 0.77% Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander: 0.62% Oct 29 2019
Fact, although Trump suggests these are blacks run amuck in Portland who will destroy the suburbs and urban areas if Biden is elected, these are mostly white people protesting. Yes, even the violent ones.
And another fact Jack. It's the democratic states that send money to the republican run states so they can pay their bills. You more than most here need to try a red pill.
