Well, yeah - there's nothing in the Constitution protecting freedom of expression from private, business interests. Your private life, decisions and actions, and personal and political opinions - even you makeup, tattoos, and manner of dress - are business's business, and they can mess with your private life as much as they want over them whenever they have dealings with you.
So if you want to, say, volunteer at a birth-control clinic on your own time, your boss can fire you for that.
Such is the state of our so-called freedoms in the US.
