The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that the Trump administration may not immediately proceed with its plan to end a program protecting about 700,000 young immigrants known as Dreamers from deportation.

The part that really tickles me is that the ruling doesn’t actually say that DACA can’t be repealed. It just says that Trump was so incompetent that he failed to follow the rules for repealing it. This has always been the silver lining behind the Trump cloud: namely that he’s such an idiot that he’s caused a lot less damage than, say, a Ted Cruz or a Marco Rubio, who would know how to get things done legally and properly so they could withstand judicial review.

At least, that was the silver lining prior to the coronavirus outbreak, where Trump’s idiocy is just straight up killing people.

Can we at least stop calling them Dreamers and call them illegal spawn of illegal aliens?

I'm not asking permission. I already call them what they are.

I suggest that you do the same.

It will be less emotional for you when they're deported if you don't give them flowery names.

Supreme Court strikes down Louisiana abortion law

Why it matters: The court's ruling largely leaves the status quo of abortion law unchanged, affirms the court’s precedents and leaves big decisions about the future of abortion access for another day.

But it will likely upset conservative activists who want to see the court — and Chief Justice John Roberts, in particular — move more aggressively.

This is the third blockbuster case in a row, following rulings last week protecting LGBTQ workers and upholding the DACA immigration program, in which at least one of the conservative justices sided with the liberals.

By the way, Ted, loses is spelled loses.

At least in America. Maybe that's how they spell it in whatever Communist country you hail from.

Oh...

And about that, dipshit.

Did Trump win 304 or 306 electoral votes? Trump won states (and one district in Maine) worth 306 electoral votes (this map). However, two Texas electors did not cast their actual ballots for him, so history will record Trump as winning 304 electoral votes.

Didn't hurt Hillary none in 2016.

Figured I'd give you a little reminder since you're brain damaged.

As per usual, Ted only read the headline and didn't bother to read the first paragraph.

Quote:

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that President Trump can for now block the release of his financial records to Congress but that prosecutors in New York may see them, a stunning defeat for Mr. Trump but a decision that probably means the records will be shielded from public scrutiny until after the election, perhaps indefinitely.
