I just looked it up online though. Not sure I'd be very much in agreement with it.
Sounds to me like the author is suggesting that child rearing (or the lack thereof) bears no effects on the outcome of a person's personality in adulthood. And it also sounds to me like being an asshole is something that can't be helped because of "muh genetics".
Robert Plomin sounds like he'd be one of the first guys saying "In the Year of our Ford" in Brave New World.
I'm of the school of thought that there is no such thing as Destiny. Spiritually, or genetically.

The judge in Flynn's case, Emmet Sullivan, refuses to accept the DOJ's dismissal of the case. He has invited a retired judge as "amicus" to fight the dismissal. The thing that makes this so hypocritical is that this same judge, Emmet Sullivan, has refused amici in this case 24 times when friends of Flynn were trying to present evidence. He ruled at the time that it was an unreasonable interference. Now that the case has been dropped, NOW it's OK to bring in an amicus?
The Supreme Court has already ruled that such actions were a "drastic departure" and an "abuse of discretion".
