And now you're blaming me for what Hollywood says and does. Well, I suppose I'm just gonna have to buck up and accept that too. At least my wife of 41 years still likes me a little, especially when we go see a good Hollywood Rom-Com together. She loves those.
I get the feeling that you're probably a better dad than most of them, and the sense that maybe your daughters respected your opinions about things and though teenagers will be teenagers, they grew up mostly making the right decisions as they made their way to adulthood and weren't as easily influenced by negative outside sources as a lot of other kids are.
But a lot of their friends weren't so fortunate.
If it was as simple as "nobody listens to what the weirdos in Hollywood have to say", than I'd just be nitpicking here.
However, that's not the case.
Now, more than ever, these people have a greater influence on the minds of kids and young adults in America. These people who will make more in one year than most will ever see in their lifetimes. These hypocrites who have no connections to the real world that the rest of us live in, yet never let a chance pass them up to tell you what you're doing wrong and why you're a bad person.
When you hand over your cash, you're voting with your wallet that you're either on board with them and their ideology of do as I say not as I do, or at the very least it's all okay with you. There are a lot of other things you can do to show your wife that you love her and to have a good time with her. I'm not going to tell you that you have to do them. You do as you'd like.
But you need to at least understand my mindset before you disregard it completely. And don't ever try to equate my POV to what those people do.

Can't believe anything the MSM ( MSNBC especially ) or the deep state says regarding Trump. Judges have been caught in massive double standards and cartoonish hyperbole in regards to blasting Trump or his associates.
Hell, the FISA court has already admitted 2 of the 4 warrants issued were based on bogus intel. Only a matter of time before the other 2 are called out and everything from those are expunged due to fruit of the poison tree doctrine.

I don't disagree with how meds mess people up, but I disagree with your assessment on when and how pilled up people become violent.
They are dosed with lab made chemicals like lab rats, and while they are on the drugs they are more or less docile. Their feelings are suppressed and their thoughts are muddled. Predictably, most people who are put on these drugs don't particularly care for the complete 24/7 dulling of the senses brought about by these drugs, and many choose to go off of them cold turkey. But at that point, especially the longer they've been on them, the normal brain functions that were carried on before being introduced to the drugs behave differently than they used to. A dependency has been built. Even if it's not similar to a heroin addicts dependency where they'll do anything to get their next fix, their brain has learned to cope with the new normal in tandem with the drug and no longer works correctly without it.
The real danger comes when people who are medicated decide for themselves they're just going to quit them cold turkey, instead of using a monitored process of weening them off of the drugs safely over time.
When it's not done right, these people are suddenly flooded with the emotions and thoughts that were suppressed and muddied all at once, and their brain circuitry is all fubared.
I'm not arguing with you about the behavioral drugs themselves, as I'm no fan of them either. I'm just arguing about when the violence begins and ends during the process.
