10 minutes is the magic number to have your videos monetized on YouTube (I'm told that people who don't have adblocker have to watch two advertisements by then). In traditional television, you're already knee deep in your second commercial break during your favorite show at the 10 minute mark.
You and I are old school, buddy. (Yes, I did watch her whole speech). I doubt very much that even a meaningful percentage of Millennials sat through just her speech, let alone devoting any of their time to watching these impeachment hearings. And Generation Zed who's been watching handheld shit on their phones since they were in diapers? I doubt you'll find a single one who didn't tune out as soon as she was talking about her old man and what her life was like growing up.
My skepticism is nothing personal against her. We've been hearing the same old shit about Russian interference for 3 years straight, yet not a single person has ever explained what that actually means. I know more than a large majority of people do about tech and how it works, yet they speak in bullshit vaguery and meaningless jargon when they're dancing around the topic. (Because they think we're all fucking stupid).
I don't know what Obama would have to say about election interference in 2019, but he certainly didn't think it was a legitimate concern in 2015. That's all I'm saying.
Do Right, Be Right. :)

There's only so much bullshit that I can stomach, and her statements tested my limit. Every other sentence that came out of her mouth was manipulative.
OOC tho "SHINY", what was her testimony on the matter of the hearings?
Did she witness anything? Or did she just bloviate?

Over the course of the election, a wide-ranging group of Russians probed state voter databases for insecurities; hacked the Hillary Clinton campaign, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Democratic National Committee; tried to hack the campaign of Sen. Marco Rubio and the Republican National Committee; released politically damaging information on the internet; spread propaganda on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram; staged rallies in Florida and Pennsylvania; set up meetings with members of the Trump campaign and its associates; and floated a business proposition for a skyscraper in Moscow to the Trump Organization.
The goal, as determined by the U.S. intelligence community and backed up by evidence gathered by Special Counsel Robert Mueller: To damage the Clinton campaign, boost Trump’s chances and sow distrust in American democracy overall.
The details of these efforts have come out in drips and drabs since the 2016 election ended, with information revealed by a memo from intelligence agencies, court documents filed by Mueller, testimony from Trump associates in court and before Congress and investigative news reports.

Yup. 1 useless idiot and 2 Old Soviets doing what they do.
And you nailed it as well SGG. She was awesome. She put that whiner from Ohio in his place so quickly. He had his brief case in his lap and started pouting and she charmed him while making him look like angry child. He had to go on Fox right after to try and save some face. What is with these crazy @ss Republicans??

I'm not a Republican.
Besides... it's not the Republicans you have to worry about anyhow.
It's all of those people who voted for Trump and Obama, and are going to vote for Trump again.

Did you actually read it?
Quote:
The FBI alerted states to the threat about two months before the 2016 election when hackers accessed voter registration databases in Illinois and Arizona. Then in January 2017, the government issued its first report on election interference and blamed Russia for the hacks. However, DHS did not tell top state officials that their systems were scanned by hackers until nearly a year after the election.
"How convenient." and "Because, that makes sense."
Not sure which thought came to mind first.
Quote:
The prosecutors offered up more details, including saying that hackers stole information on 500,000 voters from an unnamed state’s website, including names, addresses, partial Social Security numbers, dates of birth and driver’s license numbers.
Oh... ANON states now, huh?
You know what... I don't have time for this right now. I'm sure the rest of the "journalism" here is exactly the same as this, because the journalism of the last 3 years has been exactly the same as this.
Maybe I'll look at it again later for laughs.
