yay. More gays in space.
Since there is a show for the 9-year old gay kid dummy Sheldon from TBBT, maybe he can join this cast too. And the new gay Spock can come along, Vulcans greatly outlive humans, so he can still be around in Picard's era.
Is it some handwavium tech that makes kids in future space all be gay?

Lots of fine callbacks to the older generation, but I've heard there's not much depth to this story as the trailer would suggest.
Dunno what all access even is, but if I have to pay extra for it, I'll pass.

I like that current state of CGI is bringing movie quality to TV.
I expect plenty of cheese from all things Star Trek...and for the most part, fans are very forgiving, and even giggly over the silliness and bad acting of the likes of Frakes.
as for Pay for access...seems like everyone now has that one big bank show..and if I chased em all.. I'd be broke paying for Game of Thrones on one, Stranger Things on another, Picard, etc...if the product is truly good, at some point I'll find a way to view it..but I'm not dashing out to another pay stream channel...glad to see them do something with old farts in it..hope they handle it well...as for the gay factor that hollywood seems so obsessed with...I could care less about their lifestyle as an actor.. I do however resent that it gets shoved on us all (ALL) the time...whether it's the latest Beauty and the Beast, or Captain Marvelette.. I mean , seriously? go back to flicks like Independance Day...what about invading aliens required us to literally pause in the action while the little gay guy makes his speach about calling his mother, his lawyer, etc... I'm watching Goldblum, who can't act anyway, have to just pause and stand there looking stupid while the flamer gets his moment and I'm thinking "there must be some little LGBT+ folks just laughing their eyes wet over this one scene" but for the point of the movie?..no...they just have to interject gaydom into everything...the dang Bubble Guppies has a character her mentions that she has 2 dads..why?..what are the odds in terms of actual percentage of populate that out of 5 characters on a show, one of them has 2 dads?..it's the agenda that ticks me off, not the reality of gay choice....anyway..I've "rabbitted"...yeah, hoping Picard will bring all the magic, and unfortunately some of the silly cheese that TNG is known for...oh, and can somebody please NOT let Data sing...
