Quote:I think most of the people who voted for Trump in 2016 don't care about facts, and never will, which kind of explains how their lives get into binds and blind alleys. It is literally, not metaphorically, impossible to get them to understand how Trump is transferring Federal money into his own pocket. These are the same people who get screwed over time after time in their personal financial decisions and by their the bosses and in their dealings with landlords, etc. You'd never be able to get those kind of people to pay intelligent attention to what is being done to rip them off. They know they are being screwed; they can't grasp what to do about it; they hope Trump will help; they are so very wrong about him:

We can only hope that the next election, it comes up Democrat, but Republicans win that coin toss 50% of the time.
I think enough of those who feel as you say are beginning to realize Trump is not the answer. That in fact their situations are getting worse
tick tock second. I saw this coming from the very beginning and is why I started this thread. A bold prediction at the time don't you think? Well, here we are.

Quote:I think they are NOT realizing. I see that "Health Insurance Costs Surpass $20,000 Per Year, Hitting a Record". Since the median household income is only $61,000, Americans are being screwed by just this one thing, not counting all the other financial screwing. Is it possible to get a Trump voter to understand Trump is not fixing this? Not possible. (I forgot to mention Trump tried to fix it by making it worse. Long dead Senator John McCain stopped Trump.)

Fortunately, Trump voters only number about 62,984,828, while the population is 329,064,917. Maybe some of those 200,000,000 who did not vote last time will vote this next time.

Pompeo subpoenaed for Ukraine docks by 3 House committees
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been subpoenaed by three House committees. The committees are "investigating the extent to which President Trump jeopardized national security by pressing Ukraine to interfere with our 2020 election and by withholding security assistance provided by Congress to help Ukraine counter Russian aggression." They are seeking documents from Pompeo by October 4th, 2019.

Oh, they will.
Just not the way you're hoping they will.

Quote:(I forgot to mention Trump tried to fix health care by making it worse, but long dead Senator John McCain stopped it in a famous thumbs down on Trump.) The typical Trump voter was thinking that repealing Obamacare and replacing it with nothing was a GREAT IDEA, but that's the kind of "thinking" that screws up their lives.

This is what they talk about between meetings of shifting their focus from Russiagate (because it doesn't sell papers anymore) to racism.
NYT is a total activist driven trash rag. You get better reporting from Weekly World News in 2019.
