I never heard anything about it, but even back then I barely had any interest or paid any attention to the lives of Hollywood people.
I only recently heard about how he went to jail later in life (where that picture came from) and that he had a real hard time at school after being in the movie. I found that to be quite odd. I would have thought that kids at school would have thought it was pretty awesome to be friends with Anakin Skywalker. Nobody could tell me that 8 to 10 year old kids didn't think that movie was awesome at the time it came out. It was made for them.

Not sure what that's even supposed to mean. I find it somewhat noteworthy that her ONE credit is one of the better sci-fi movies of all time.
No idea what she's done w/ her life, but I'm thinking she's fared better than the little Anakin Skywalker kid.
Kinda would like to hear her story, if anyone knows it.
I specifically remember a young Alyson Hannigan, as Dan Akryod's kid in " My step mother is a alien ". Completely silly B movie and at the time, I thought this girl did THE worst acting job I'd ever seen in a legit movie. Then I felt sorry for her, because I was convinced she had some learning disability. But she turned out a decent career, I'd say.

Ohh, I didn't know the back story. Couple of vids from YouTube, and you can learn a lot.
So she wasn't even a child actress who went in for a audition. They literally picked her from the cafeteria while she was in 4th grade.
