Reeally... Well, given his current state of (non)affairs, perhaps he thought it too generous a gift to accept? Perhaps you might just offer him a little something from http://www.head.com/. Surely everyone wants HEAD for Christmas. It needn't be anything that rattles his sense of propriety; I should think some balls or bindings might be accepted in friendship.
I, on the other hand, am getting no younger or prettier, and have got little time to worry over such minutiae. I'd gladly take the HUMMER, and propriety be damned. Jefé is young; I have been around long enough to know not to look a gift HUMMER in the mouth, so to speak.
