Trump On Dow 27,000:

So I’m thrilled to welcome you here, and we’re all working very hard, and I don’t know if you know but we just had 27,000 on the Dow. That’s the highest in history. We’re up a couple of hundred points today — the highest in history, for those of you that like the stock market.

But the stock market means jobs. I view it as jobs. And I view it as 401Ks. A lot of people say, “Oh, the rich people are getting rich.” But if you look at the numbers, the greatest impact proportionately is blue collar workers, in what’s happened, in this miracle that’s happening.

And people with 401Ks, they’re up 72 percent and 67 percent. And the wife or the husband, whoever is responsible, the other one says, “You’re a genius. You’re a great financial investor. Darling, you’re up 77 percent this year.” So a lot of good things happen. A lot of people are happy, and I think really everybody’s happy. Some people just aren’t willing to admit it. Does that make sense?

The higher the bottle rocket flies, the further down it has to fall.

Remember the housing market crash. Or the last time the DOW crashed for that matter?

The economy sucks. Period.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

The economy only sucks if you think of stocks as being anything other than an easily traded commodity (oil, natural gas, gold).

The Federal Reserve Bank tracks the Market. Those months when the DOW is crashing? Those are like a half price sale or a going-out-of-business sale. You load up your shopping cart with cheap stocks and pay with your credit card or cash. If you don't have credit or cash, too bad for you - you can't play the game, but eventually the price will go back up and you make a fortune.

Simply put, when it comes to investing, stick to what you know. “Defining what your game is — where you’re going to have an edge — is enormously important.” Once you’ve done that, buy and hold, he adds: “If you aren’t willing to own a stock for 10 years, don’t even think about owning it for 10 minutes.”

Like I said, the economy sucks for the people who actually work for a living.

Do Right, Be Right. :)
