I think tribalism demands loyalty and conformity. That's what I see in the people here like THUGGER, REAVER, SHINY, and SECOND. They never fail to sniff each other's butts, lick each other's faces, and howl the same chorus, in a show of being mindlessly one group.
As fans of a show extolling the individual, they're the exact opposite.
eta: When it comes to your real-world experience, I think you're on the wrong end of the tribe 'neoliberalism', as am I (though for different reasons). I'm really old and don't care what that tribe thinks of me. So, for example, in my retirement I hope to go back to school; into the pack mentality. I'll just be the odd, dumpy, old out-lady with the strange ideas about what makes a good society. Eh. Whatever.
I hope you can get past that reviled-outsider feeling enough to do whatever it is you want to do, and go wherever it is you want to go.

I warned that if their only message leading up to 2020 was "We're Not Trump" they are going to lose. Looks like we're going to be put that theory to the test.

I'm just commenting that if the Democrats, all 800 of them running for President, just keep doing what Democrats and the media have been doing for the last 2 1/2 years, that's not going to win them a Presidential election.
