Fox News judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano broke rank and said that Trump obstructed justice multiple times. He recorded this statement several days after the release of the redacted Mueller Report.

OK, so then let them write a report with the evidence in it. In fair trial they'd have to show their evidence to the accused anyway, so ... no loss there. Go public, I say, and stop with the allegations.

It's not unfair or trollish to insist on evidence before conviction. In fact, it's one of the cornerstones of our Constitutionally-protected rights against kangaroo courts and Star Chamber proceedings.
Smooth anti-American move, deep state troll.
Now, do you suppose you could discuss EVIDENCE? Or are you allergic to truth?

I am wondering if Mueller's Courtroom shenanigans regarding those Russian entities who want to see his Evidence have finally run out of steam, and if that case is now proceeding. Mum seems to be the word lately.

As I understand it, Mueller also indicted a private company, which DID show up for it's day in court. Among other things, Mueller indicted the company using a name that didn't even exist at the time. Also the Mueller team apparently didn't want to share their evidence with the defense because they said it was classified or some such. Well, classified or not, prosectors have to share their evince with the defense. After that, nothing showed up in the press.

Mueller Indicted A Russian Company That Didn't Even Exist, Court Transcripts Say
Quote:
This week, one of the Russian companies accused by Special Counsel Robert Mueller of funding a conspiracy to meddle in the 2016 U.S. presidential election was revealed in court to not have existed during the time period alleged by Mueller's team of prosecutors, according to a lawyer representing the defendant.
U.S. Magistrate Judge G. Michael Harvey asked Eric Dubelier, one of two lawyers representing the accused Russian company, Concord Management and Consulting LLC, if he was representing a third company listed in Mueller's indictment.
"What about Concord Catering?" Harvey asked Dubelier. "The government makes an allegation that there's some association. I don't mean for you to – do you represent them, or not, today? And are we arraigning them as well?"
"We're not," Dubelier responded. "And the reason for that, Your Honor, is I think we're dealing with a situation of the government having indicted the proverbial ham sandwich."
"That company didn't exist as a legal entity during the time period alleged by the government," Dubelier continued. "If at some later time they show me that it did exist, we would probably represent them. But for purposes of today, no, we do not."

Mueller Scrambles To Limit Evidence After Indicted Russians Actually Show Up In Court
Quote:
Special Counsel Robert Mueller is scrambling to limit pretrial evidence handed over to a Russian company he indicted in February over alleged meddling in the 2016 U.S. election, according to Bloomberg.
Mueller asked a Washington federal Judge for a protective order that would prevent the delivery of copious evidence to lawyers for Concord Management and Consulting, LLC, one of three Russian firms and 13 Russian nationals. The indictment accuses the firm of producing propaganda, pretending to be U.S. activists online and posting political content on social media in order to sow discord among American voters.
The special counsel's office argues that the risk of the evidence leaking or falling into the hands of foreign intelligence services, especially Russia, would assist the Kremlin's active "interference operations" against the United States.

Quote:There is evidence Trump said "Witch Hunt" a thousand times. Why was Trump hostile to investigating Russia? Who knows why Trump does anything? Mueller tried to ask him why, but Trump's answers were "I do not recall" repeated dozens of times in appendix C of Mueller's report. For example:

"I have no recollection of being told during the campaign that any foreign government or foreign leader had provided, wished to provide, or offered to provide tangible support to my campaign."
"I do not recall being aware during the campaign of specific efforts by foreign individuals or companies to assist my campaign through the use of social media postings or the organization of rallies."
"I have no recollection of the details of what, when, or from what source I first learned about the change to the platform amendment regarding arming Ukraine, but I generally recall learning of the issue as part of media reporting. I do not recall being involved in changing the language to the amendment."
There is your evidence that Trump is unaware.
Mueller came to the same conclusion that the Russians did: Trump will take Russian help, but Trump is too stupid to coordinate anything with anybody. The Russians will help him and not try to explain it to him.
Trump never stopped calling Mueller's investigation a "Witch Hunt". He said it at a campaign rally this weekend. It is pretty much evidence that Trump is very dumb. Or he thinks people at his rally are. But smart people have the proof it was not a witch hunt:

And your "quote" of me is completely fake. Nice job, Russian troll. Why don't you call Mueller a Witch Hunter and make complete your piecework assignment for Monday and collect your pay for a trolling job well done?

Let's look at the most technically relevant part of your link in detail:
Quote:According to Crowdstrike and the DNC, which did not allow the FBI to examine any of the computers in question.
In the midst of the hack, the DNC discovered what was going on and hired security firm CrowdStrike to investigate it for them.
Quote:FIVE DAYS??? Jeez, that's a slow response for the GRU, which supposedly had a lot of people on top of this operation
On June 15, CrowdStrike published a blog post, scarce on details, announcing the compromise of the DNC network and attributing the hack to Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear, code names for the GRU hacking units.
Five days after CrowdStrike’s blog post,
Quote:presumed

Quote:BUT NO LOGFILES FROM THE DNC COMPUTERS? All this says us that someone logged into a server in Arizona. There appears to be no logs available from the [presumed] target computer(s) at the DNC because .... why? This would really clinch the deal, and anyone could find them, or at least locate the holes where they were deleted. (These logfiles are all timestamped. Even on our own no-account home PC, there is attempted communication many many times a minute, leaving a continuous stream of entries. Because the stream is so continuous, it's obvious where there are gaps.)
Russians allegedly deleted all of the logs from their C2 server that “documented their activities,” including their login history.
Quote:So, what happened to these files? Were they erased from the server? Bleachbitted? Transmitted to Russia? Transmitted elsewhere? If the FBI had access to this server, they certainly would have been able to find the end of this story, but they didn't.
In addition to leasing a server in Arizona, the Russians also allegedly leased a separate server in Illinois that they used for a separate piece of malware called X-Tunnel, which was responsible for compressing and then uploading gigabytes of stolen documents from the DCCC and DNC networks to the server in Illinois “through encrypted channels.”
It seems as if they had access to SOME details but many others ... evidence that would have "sealed the deal" and allowed them to draw a straight line from one computer to another and thence to Russia ... are missing.
Why?
If they had the kind of access that the article implies, including real-time access when the Arizona (and possibly Illinois) servers were active, what happened to the rest of the info? Why do they have to draw such sketchy lines? Why aren't the DNC logfiles available?
And furthermore, why haven't they interviewed Julian Assange and Craig Murray?
The article is written in the kind of style that just shoots stuff at a wall to see what sticks. But when I re-arrange it in logical sequence, the gaps and weaknesses become evident. There is a source and destination for these files, and each source and each destination keeps files on who did what, when. And if they were transmitted anywhere over the internet, but especially overseas, all the NSA would have to do is intercept one packet out of tens of thousands in order to validate the "Russian hacking" story. And yet, the NSA is the one with the least confidence in this "Russian hacking" scenario.
I'll go over the article again, and show you my re-arrangement and also the gaps that don't make sense. Maybe on second reading it will make more sense but right now it looks like someone trying to fluff up nothing into something.

Signym, I fail to see why Trump was worried about what Mueller might have found on the Russians. If Trump and Putin had been working together, it is not a crime:
Amid the growing power struggle between Congress and the White House, U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Houston, intends to press for legislation that could land a candidate or staff member in jail for five years for working with a foreign agent.
Democrats in Texas are debating how to proceed when Congress reconvenes next week after Easter recess, the first session since release of the Mueller report exonerating President Donald Trump of crimes in the Russian meddling in U.S. elections, but also raising red flags regarding Trump’s attempts to protect himself from the special counsel’s investigation.
www.houstonchronicle.com/news/politics/texas/article/Amid-impeachment-
talk-Rep-Jackson-Lee-files-13795002.php
I cannot understand why Trump made such a big deal out of nothing. It was all perfectly legal. Those mean Democrats are planning on making it illegal, but Trump will never sign that law.
I probably should mention that Jackson Lee’s newly drafted Foreign Interference in American Elections Act of 2019 would require candidates or campaign aides to refuse assistance from any foreign government and to tell the FBI about such offers within 72 hours of being contacted. It would apply even to volunteers. Again, whatever might have happened between Trump/Putin is not yet a crime.
