Yanno, I thought that in order to get a green card, you had to be SPONSORED. That means that someone takes financial responsibility for you so that you aren't a burden on the American taxpayer.
So how is is that greencard holders are getting benefits anyway?

In my local Sanctuary City of Green Bay, the Police Chief has stopped whining about ICE capturing Illegal Aliens without giving him warning enough to warn the Aliens - long enough to whine and bitch about last Friday, when 4 teenagers killed another a few blocks from me when they planned to steal a small amount of pot from the dealer. While he has been advocating that Criminals should feel free to violate the Law, he's upset that habitual Criminals are not finding more valid quantities of Illegal Drugs to murder over.

Trump is threatening to dump illegal migrants into sanctuary cities, and altho that would affect me negatively (ouch!) I think it's a perfect response to this sanctuary idiocy. I think we should start with Silicon Valley, where all of these internet giants have their nice (gated) homes.

Great idea! Those thousands of peasants in the caravans won't have any trouble paying $3,000 a month for a one-bedroom apartment when they can squeeze in 10 families to share the rent. I'm sure their yuppie neighbors will appreciate the opportunity to show off their enlightened tolerance and gleefully embrace the joyful wonder of multiculturalism up close and personal.

BTW, I HATE shopping at Home Depot. The place is such a disorganized mess, it's impossible to find anything. Last time I went, which was a few days ago to get some replacment hose bibbs, the only things I found with the right size and type printed on them were two empty boxes. I had to get a store employee to find them for me, and she dug them out of some unrelated boxes.

I shop Ace when I don't want to bother with trying to find things, and hose bibs would be just such an item. And they have really odd items like - you know that metal bead-chain that's used for pull-type light switches? And the little metal clasp connector for said chain? They have those. And bed-risers? They have those too. Honestly, I can't think of anything I've gone for that they didn't have. I just take in the old whatever, or tell them what I'm trying to do, and they can find it for me. Yes, they're expen$ive but it's worth saving the time and aggravation. They really are the helpful hardware folk. And for serious stuff like a few dozen sheets of mold-free drywall, I go to Lowes. The ONLY thing I go to Home Depot for is Behr.
