Off to see the tax man today. Won't owe any money but Ottawa must be dealt with.

I'm SO waiting for the day when you move! I think if you have a warm, dry place the rain won't be so bothersome.

That is very likely.

Yet another problem solved by moving!

fwiw I hope your current landlady can't find another renter and THEN gets in trouble for safety code violations and sub-standard housing, with mega-fines plus remediation. I hope the years of misery she put you through come back and bite her in the ass, big-time.

Went to the antique shops when I visited my brother, Brenda, but still haven't found that Hogan's Hero's record. They had a HUGE selection of old records a year or two back, but they must have sold most of them down since there was only about 1/4 of what they had back then.

Still keeping an eye out when I go to Goodwill too, but they don't have a huge selection there ever.

I decided that I'm going to start buying DVD's of movies I like. Many years ago, I had a collection of around 25 or so that I gave to my brother since I was going completely digital with everything. He had upwards of around 700 of them. My mom and step-dad easily had over 1,000.

KODI has pretty much been shut down. I've got Netflix, but they've got shit for a selection. I wanted to watch Galaxy Quest and Idiocracy recently, but of all the online streaming services only two of them currently have those movies, and they're only available to rent for 48 hours above and beyond the normal subscription fees!

A few years ago, I could have gotten a lot of DVDs, but I didn't want them at the time. My bro had a flood and lost a lot of them, and used that as an excuse to get rid of the rest except for those he couldn't get online digital codes for legit copies. My parents got rid of most of theirs during and after the move. :(

Goodwill seems to be a great place to do it though. If I stop by during the week, I figure I'll only buy ones that I put really high up on the list at $2.00 if I see them. Those that are lower on my list I'll take my chances and buy on the Saturdays where everything is half price for a buck.

This weeks acquisitions:

Big Fish
Caddyshack
The Green Mile
Office Space
The Secret of NIMH
Serenity :)

Office Space was the only one that cost me $2.00

Do Right, Be Right. :)

No worries Jack. The last time I was at the Salvation Army Thrift shop all I found was records that were classical and a couple from singers that I haven't seen since I was in High School. Also some soundtrack albums but stuff like "Flower Drum Song" and the like.

I had a troll through their DVDs as well but nothing I wanted. I am on the hunt for a copy of "Gladiator".
