There was never any reason to give the Justice Department ten days, since they’re demanding an unredacted version. I suppose that’s water under the bridge, but what’s the excuse for delaying even longer now that their deadline is up? Bill Barr is not going to change his mind and he’s not going to “reach an accommodation.” That’s not what the Trump administration does. So just issue the subpoena and then go to court. It’s where we’ll end up eventually anyway. Why put it off?

Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen recently testified in Congress that he does not believe the president is being audited.

There are probably thousands of things that I don't care about as far as Trump is concerned.

"Collusion"? A make-believe problem
"Obstruction"? Another made-up issue.

Lying about golf? Don't care.
Lying about his father's birthplace? Ditto
His former business practices? His taxes? His sexual habits?

I voted for him to get three things done. If he gets those three things done, I'm a happy camper. There is always life after Trump, but Trump will have preserved the foundation for getting other things done later.

Now, for the sake of completeness there are some personal crimes I WOULD react to ... murder, human (including child) trafficking etc. These crimes are so heinous they would outweigh any progress being made with policy.

But my happiness or unhappiness rests primarily on what Trump does with those three things. That's why I'm entirely unimpresssed with you and REAVERBOT's style of throwing shit against the wall to see what sticks. And yanno what? I'd say the same thing about Hillary.
