...and she doubles down on her "anal" response.

The "committee" is made up of Congressional members, so, in fact, Second is right. (of course, the Senate is a different story).

Sheeese!!!

The law is clear: Congress is entitled to the full 400 pages of Mueller's Report, unredacted.

Watergate Special Prosecutor Leon Jaworski completed his work and produced a report backed by evidence collected by the grand jury. The House Judiciary Committee investigating the Watergate scandal issued a subpoena for the report and evidence, and immediately found themselves in court. H.R. Haldeman, President Nixon’s former chief of staff, moved to block production citing Rule 6(e), the same provision cited by Barr.

District Court Judge John J. Sirica rejected Haldeman’s claim and ruled that Rule 6(e) was no bar to disclosure to the committee. Haldeman appealed, and the case was heard by the full slate of D.C. Circuit active judges in a rarely convened en banc proceeding. Ruling 5-1, the D.C. Circuit affirmed the district judge’s analysis on March 21, 1974, in Haldeman v. Sirica . The only dissenter was a Nixon appointee, George MacKinnon.

The documents were promptly produced to the House Judiciary Committee. While the Jaworski report and underlying evidence did not themselves become public – Rule 6(e) was honored — the report became known as “the Road Map” and guided the committee’s ongoing investigation. Four months later the committee reported articles of impeachment. Two weeks later, President Nixon resigned.

Your original post was all of 12 sentences long, including the sub-head. It's not my fault you could be fucking bothered to read them, and resorted to libel because your ego couldn't take you being caught in a stupid mistake.

All our Trump defenders (6ix, Signym, 1kiki/rue, JewelStaiteFan, Auraptor) are "discussing" their health crises and the times they almost killed themselves.
http://fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?tid=63023

I think people who defend Trump need him for some psychological reason or else they kill themselves.

What started the "discussion"? A FOX News meteorologist killed herself because she had dry eyes and poor vision after eye surgery to correct her vision. Possibly she was a Trump defender because of the FOX connection. Her death made our own Trump defenders sympathize because they came close to killing themselves.

Did you know that brain scans show Trump defenders are different from normal people?

People who have more fearful dispositions tend to be more politically conservative. It’s not that conservative people are more fearful, it’s that fearful people are more conservative. Conservatives who aren't handling adversity well think about killing themselves. They could turn toward either God or a powerful savior, Trump for example, to ease their painful lives. Since 6ix, Signym, 1kiki/rue, JewelStaiteFan, Auraptor have not expressed any religious beliefs, Trump will be the substitute or the stand-in for a missing or unavailable God who keeps them from killing themselves. If Trump falls unexpectedly, maybe they will finally kill themselves to relieve their suffering. That's why they fight for Trump's survival. It is their own survival they fight for. Again, go read about them killing themselves here: http://fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?tid=63023

Yeah. And so what?

You're constantly talking about assassinating the president, how much you get off on screwing the 99% for your own gains, and half of the ones here that are against Trump often convey hostility, a desire to harm others, and support for censorship.

You're the very reason why we shouldn't have censorship online. If you didn't have places like this to do all of your ranting and raving, you might actually go out and start hurting other people, or worse.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

I know Trump defenders (these people are more extreme than the simple Trump voters who now have second thoughts about Trump's honesty, integrity, competency ). Trump defenders I know in Texas are not well people. They are not mentally stable. I haven't asked any if they'd kill themselves when Trump is dead or defeated. I really, really don't want to know, but them being dead sure would Make America Great Again. I'll give you a historically example: If Confederate slave-owners had killed themselves in grief when Abraham Lincoln was elected President, it sure would have been a blessing. A huge Civil War could have been avoided.

6ix, you can only take that attitude if you believe slave-owning was simply a political/cultural matter and was not caused by the extreme mental derangement/beliefs of the slave-owners. Were slave-owners the good guys? If you had asked them, they would say they were. And that Confederate President Jefferson Davis (the Trump of his day) was elected to defend slave-owners' rights to live as they pleased.

Mueller vs. Starr vs. Watergate: What happened two days, two weeks, and two months later

https://qz.com/1584773/

The full report from Watergate won’t be made public until Oct. 31, 2018, after Project Democracy and Lawfare sued for its release. Expect the full Mueller report in about 45 to 50 years.

Liar. In fact, we're discussing why someone would have killed themselves over what seems to be a relatively minor procedure and relatively minor ... and apparently temporary ... side effects, because it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to any of us.

Why do you have to lie about everything, SECOND?
What are you hiding from yourself?

Like I said: You have snakes in your head. I've dealt with a person like you before SECOND: A killer who couldn't admit to themselves what they did (and why) and spent their entire life virtue signalling and hiding from the truth ... another person who couldn't forgive themselves. The entire thrust of our on-topic posts ... before WISHY pushed her gratuitous trolling into the thread... was, "Well, its upsetting when you have unexpected side effects from a procedure, BUT ..."
I hope THUGR and GSTRING and REAVERBOT go to that thread and read it for themselves; they'll be able to see how you manage to twist the truth. Again. Which is pretty much emblematic how you twist the truth everywhere.

You have a serious problem, SECOND. It's one thing to lie to others, but lying to yourself about such foundational issues is another thing entirely. I hope you get it sorted out.

Signym, you have used this same move before. Trump has, too.

When Trump is caught red-handed in a lie or scandal, he has a time-worn playbook for weathering it. First, he lies about the facts of the matter, attempting to create enough uncertainty to inoculate his base and a portion of the rest of the population against accepting the reality of what has happened. Second, he pivots to attacking his antagonists (which in the past have included a dead senator, the father of a fallen soldier, and judges of Mexican heritage). Finally, he tries to change the subject.

Far from Trump emerging into a new phase of his presidency with the release of the Barr report, he has in fact lapsed into this age-old pattern. Phases one and two came quickly, with Trump and his surrogates claiming that the president had been completely exonerated even though Mueller explicitly did not make this judgment. They then accused the media and Democrats of corruptly conspiring to bring down the president.

But it is the next part of the administration’s response, phase three, which is so uniquely Trumpian. The president has frequently managed to survive scandals that might have felled other politicians because he is so adept at changing the conversation by sparking a new furor, which eclipses the old one. The result has been a presidency of serial scandals which can easily induce a sense of numbness in his opponents, while making himself appear invulnerable to any particular one of the hundreds of controversies encircling him.

Since the release of the Barr report, Trump has attempted to change the topic in two ways.

1) The first is on healthcare. Last Monday, the Trump administration filed a letter in a Texas court declaring that it would like to see the entirety of the Affordable Care Act – also known as Obamacare – declared unconstitutional. Backing a wacky legal challenge that has been levied against the ACA, the administration is advocating stripping healthcare benefits from tens of millions of Americans with no plan for how to provide them with alternative coverage. Although the move is a sure political loser for Republicans, Trump charged ahead anyway.

2) Second, Trump has stepped up his anti-immigrant rhetoric and threatened to close the US border with Mexico.
