het = fiction focusing and/or containing specifically heterosexual "shipper" or relationship content

slash= fiction focusing and/or containing specifically homosexual "shipper" or relationship content

gen = fiction which does not focus on or cotain any kind of specific relationship content

Im not totally new to this site, but new enough that all the abbreviations that I see used for fanfics usually baffle me. Some are obvious(Silee=Simon+Kaylee, Jaylee=Jayne+Kaylee etc) but others totally baffle me.(CSI????) Anyway, if anyone feels like posting any abbreviations that they know off the top of their head, it would be nice.

Thanks, and sorry if this had been covered elsewhere. I did actually look around for an abbreviation thread.

CSI = Crazy Space Incest = Simon/River
Rayne = River/Jayne

/shudders

One that totally baffled me before I read what it was:

Maya = Mal Freya (Writer Jane0904 has added a character called Freya in her fics who ends up getting it on with Mal.)

I was gonna put a few others up but they have slipped from my mind.

Thanks. See, and I thougth CSI was a cross-over with Crime Scene Investigator.(now that I know I think I like my guess better)
