As I type the answer is Old Blind Dogs. Later I may switch from Scottish to Irish and go with Kila.
Or I may go go completely off the deep end and listen to an episode of "Space Patrol". Nothing like '50s radio dramas to make the work day surreal.

in my CD Player RIGHT NOW is the promo EP from the very wonderful Straight Eight Deluxe. If anyone else here has heard of them, I would be very
very
surprised.
Also my CD player is now held together with elastic bands, because it broke yesterday. Sad.

At the moment I've got on Neil and Tim Finns (ex of Crowded House) new cd, and also Polly Paulousma's Scissors in my Pocket. But I've also been listening to Def Leppard's best of CD - reminds me of my youth or somethin'.......

My sister claims that the singer for those commercials is Joe Lynn Turner (formerly of Rainbow--as in Richie Blackmore's Rainbow). Can anyone verify that? If it's true, that is kinda sad, don't you think?

Big suprise here.........
Marillion
Marbles CD1 and CD 2
So many things on these CDs make me think of Firefly. When I saw them in DC in October, I asked them if they had ever seen Firefly. The guitarist Steve Rothery said that he had and liked it quite a bit. "Especially the girl that pretended to marry the captain and then tried to take over the ship." Ahh Yo-Saf-Bridge, everybody's favorite spmurderess.
