Asked recently about Trump’s attempts to use the Department of Justice to punish his personal enemies, John Dean told CNN, “While I heard [Nixon] break the law on some of those [Watergate] tapes, I never heard him do it by turning on his enemies and trying to put them in jail. This is really very, very heavy sledding.” Dean was even more blunt in another response: “This is the sort of stuff of a banana republic.”

Trump could learn time management skills from President Dwight Eisenhower, who lived one of the most productive lives you can imagine. Use the 'Eisenhower Box' to Stop Wasting Time and Be More Productive:

Eisenhower served two terms from 1953 to 1961. During his time in office, he launched programs that directly led to the development of the Interstate Highway System in the United States, the launch of the internet (DARPA), the exploration of space (NASA), and the peaceful use of alternative energy sources (Atomic Energy Act). Trump won't have that kind of legacy.

Before becoming president, Eisenhower was a five-star general in the United States Army, served as the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe during World War II, and was responsible for planning and executing invasions of North Africa, France, and Germany. Unlike Eisenhower, Trump is not showing an ability to manage large organizations.

At other points along the way, Eisenhower served as President of Columbia University, became the first Supreme Commander of NATO, and somehow found time to pursue hobbies like golfing and oil painting. Trump does find time for golf. At least he's got that.

There was a policy in the justice department not to release any information regarding an investigation unless they were going to indict. The republicans insured the democrats will receive all of Mueller's report, even if the justice department isn't going to indict.

How you ask? The republicans insisted the justice department turn over all the documents regarding the Hillary Clinton investigation. Even thought the justice department was not going to indict.

Opps…Thanks republicans.

House Judiciary to request documents from Trump Jr., dozens in administration

The House Judiciary Committee will request documents on Monday from President Donald Trump's oldest son, his business and more than 60 individuals in his administration, the panel's chair said Sunday.

In an interview with ABC News' "This Week," Rep. Jerry Nadler said the requests for documents are to "begin investigations, to present the case to the American people about obstruction of justice, about corruption and abuse of power."

Schiff says there is 'direct evidence' of collusion between Trump campaign and Russia

“I think there is direct evidence in the emails from the Russians through their intermediary offering dirt on Hillary Clinton

“They offer that dirt. There is an acceptance of that offer in writing from the president’s son, Don Jr., and there is overt acts and furtherance of that… That to me is direct evidence.”

Getting dirt on your opponent is not "collusion". After all, there is direct evidence that Hillary paid Russians for dirt on Trump by laundering it thru Fusion GPS. Is that collusion with Russia?

what you need to show is "quid pro quo"... this for that. Is there any evidence that Trump promised some sort of policy in return for getting dirt on Hillary? (Also, since no "dirt" was exchanged, you can hardly claim that there was a "qid pro quo" because nothing was received, therefore nothing was expected in return.)

You're grasping at straws, and so is Schiff.

We’re at a most dangerous stage of this US presidency: Trump fatigue is setting in. Trump-related hearings are the opposite of a kangaroo court – the formalities are all correctly observed and the evidence is all there, but the accused will always get off. No reaction ever befits the crime. The bar for impeachment or invoking the 25th amendment is just too high and nebulous, and Trump’s bar of behaviour is just so low.

The challenge now is far bigger than finding a way to outnumber Trump’s support in 2020. It is how to ensure that the sense of futility does not overwhelm the public by then. Take it from someone who grew up in a dictatorship and recognises the surrender of burnout, that the real jeopardy doesn’t start with authoritarianism, it starts with fatigue.
