Yup. That will go over well with people on both sides.
Nancy Pelosi basically just said the following:
"Let's rile up the Right side so they all come out and vote for Trump again in 2020, and then crush the will of the Left side when the impeachment ultimately leads to nothing because the GOP controls the senate and they won't do anything about it."
Good luck there, Nancy.
In this scenario, I'm willing to be that there are enough Democrats in the house that are worried about their next elections that they'd vote against impeachment and it wouldn't even go to the Senate.
The absolute best thing to happen to Trump's reelection campaign would be for Nancy to get the speaker of the house. You can just sit back and watch the Democratic Party implode when that happens.
