Any cunning Jayne hats out there?

Lo these many moons ago, someone was selling knitted Jayne hats, like the one Jayne's mom sent to him. Is anyone still doing that? I'd love to have one.

you know you might also ask a relative or girlfriend to make you one...
they are easy to knit
(personally I think some mistakes look good on this hat, you don't want it to look all perfect and machine made)
a good knitter could knock you out one for Christmas!

Yeah, Amelia gives good directions on the site above for those who want to make their own. Its more fun to get one in the mail, though!

The other thing I haven't mentioned is that it's darned practical, and warm as all get out. Real wool and everything.

I'll have to second the "superfly" link in ordering a Jayne hat. I got mine from there, (and the special goodies included with the shipping!), and it looks AMAZING. I got a lot of compliments on it at the PA shindig in Oct. -
and when another Browncoat compliments you on something like that, you know it's good. HIGHLY recommended.

There's a small local CD store accross from my campus where they sell hats. I dropped off a picture of the Jayne hat along with the "superfly" instructions. About a week later, boom, had me my mighty cunning hat. As much as I would've liked to order one off the "superfly" link, I felt a need to support my local businesspeople.
