I'm curious to see how MANY times SECOND will continue to evade the topic of illegal immigration.

Trump is not following his own logic that the wall is of supreme importance to stop illegal immigration. Does he not believe his own words? He claims it is true but then he does NOT act to build the wall. All he does is keep on talking, talking, talking to pander to the fears of voters like 1kiki and Signym. When will he stop talking and finish building that Wall?
As a temporary expediency in the areas where there is no Texas/Mexico Wall, I think Trump needs to use his troops. He has already started to move a few toward the border, too few. He has not sent nearly enough troops to substitute for his Wall. The logic of the situation is that Trump needs to tell his troops to stand between any illegal aliens that approach the border and protect Americans. But I don't believe Trump will give the orders. He will simply keep on talking, talking, talking to pander to the fears of voters like 1kiki and Signym.
Trump has 1,347,106 active troops. Why has he not ordered all of them to the Texas/Mexico border? Why does Trump not give the order? The logic of his situation requires that Trump give that order and stop his endless empty talking.

And while Trump is at it, he needs to write that Executive Order that nullifies the 14th amendment and birthright citizenship. He talked long enough about it. He needs to do it. Or is he insincere about the importance of that?

That was one of the first fear mongering BS trial balloons the GOP and Trump tried, "they're being paid by Soros/Clinton/Obama.
Most honest, more professional reporting shot that down. It shouldn't have been hard since it started with Gaetz and then filtered out to all the GOP fake news web sites and social media echo chambers. IF you know anything about this system of disinformation you would know that, which I would bet money you do you just choose to act like it doesn't exist. It's the same style of connected, networked trolls that have been working since Russia made it popular. It was recently seen in the last Mexican presidential election as well (google).

The Fifth Amendment stipulates that "no person… shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law."
So, let me see ... these non-citizens are claiming Constitutional rights from a nation in which they haven't even set foot yet. WTF?

The suit cited a Trump interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, where the president laid out plans to build tent cities to house migrants. The suit questioned the functionality of such a project, and asked if these living quarters would qualify under the Flores Agreement of 1997. The agreement protects asylum-seekers’ rights and limits how long minors can be held.
Earlier this summer, a federal judge in California rejected a request by the administration to modify Flores to allow for longer family detention. Administration officials say they have the authority to terminate the agreement, but that is likely to be tested in court.
The suit also alleges that the US can't send troops across the US-Mexico border to stop migrants from entering the US. It also argues that Trump can't demand that asylum seekers present themselves at lawful border-crossing points, as US law states that an asylum seeker can declare their intention to seek asylum anywhere (the president said last week that he intends to issue an executive order declaring that asylum seekers declare at lawful border checkpoints).

My suggestion: Mexico has already offered asylum. I would simply ask: Did you come thru Mexico? If yes, finish your asylum process in Mexico.
