You missed the point. Trump needs to get his ass in gear and start deporting more than a few thousand per year of those 22,000,000 illegal aliens and he needs to stop fucking around talking about stopping a Caravan. But talking for Trump is effortless while arresting people and deporting them will force Trump to exert himself. He might even have to breakout in a sweat from the effort to run a large program that deports 22,000,000. Maybe Ivanka Trump can do the work for her dad?

I see it as a test of Trump and the GOP's authenticity. I think they won't do it. They will talk. They will blame the Democrats. They will pretend they are doing the best they can. They will stall, because there is an advantage to the GOP to have this "problem" around. Talking about the problem of illegal aliens helps the GOP to win elections. Actually solving the problem, which is well within their capacity to do, would be work that the GOP wants to shirk.

OK, how about this?

Harden the border.
Instead of taking illegal migrants into custody (where we become responsible for their board and care) just deport them back into Mexico.
For those who come thru official border crossings, take them into custody. Give parents the option of sending their kids elsewhere or keeping their children with them (therefore, they are not being "detained" because they have the option of leaving.)

Sweep the nation for illegal aliens. Deport any that you find, and if you find them at a workplace, fine their employer. Heavily. Once you've done that sweep, do it again, and then again, and keep on doing it until you stop finding so many illegal aliens.

Give those with American children the option of taking their children with them back to wherever they came from, or sending them elsewhere.

Revert the definition of "refugee" back to the original definition, which mean POLITICAL refugee. Most people who ask for asylum aren't fleeing because of political violence but because their nations are clusterfucks.

Or, you can do the 5-point program that I suggested earlier.

What do you think is the point in deporting for the 5th time another Criminal without an effective Border to complicate their return?
