Please send them money if you want them to get to the border before the election is over. That would make Trump look ridiculous when the US Border Patrol stops the Caravan as they routinely stop everybody, everyday of the week, holidays included.

And as for the "Caravan", that is in the news because Trump wants it in the news. All he does is mention it and then a dozen news organizations will then cover that unimportant story. As soon as the election is over, he will forget the "Caravan" until the next time he needs to get votes from fearful Republicans worried about aliens speaking Spanish.
There are hundreds of other stories about poverty that Trump cannot use, stories from Central America much sadder than thousands walking for months from El Salvador to Houston. Those stories won't be in the News because it doesn't serve Trump as well as the "Caravan". If Trump doesn't talk about it, it stops being News anymore. It doesn't take any money to walk outside of my house and take a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood and enjoy the crisp October air.
We're talking about 4,000 people (or 14,000 now I've heard) walking thousands of miles, with children, who always seem to be wearing brand new clothes and don't look to be going hungry.
You tell me. How much money does it cost to clothe and feed 14,000 people for a month?
