I loved Get Shorty, but I never saw Be Cool.
I haven't seen the remake of Jumanji either.
When I think of NPCs in the movies, I think of the criminally underrated eXistenZ with Jude Law and Jennifer Jason Lee.

I enjoyed Zathura, the sequel to Jumanji - the cast were not Stars at the time.
The remake of Jumanji was far better than I expected. Rock was not an NPC, he did explain them.
