Media can't make up their mind about it. They've reported he's resigned. They've reported that he was fired. They've reported that he's put in his resignation but it hasn't been approved.
The only thing anybody really knows is that he's going to the white house. They should probably leave their op-eds at home with their spouses and just report the facts. Nobody wants to hear what they think anymore.
